The name itself — and the show's most-asked origin question. Somewhere across the JustKiddingNews / Off The Record run the cast became the 'Careful Boyz,' and it stuck so hard it turned into the entire brand (it's right there in the official @justkiddingnews bio). Ask any fan what they call the crew now and this is the answer.

It's all three words together — 'buy the plane.' The running fantasy of buying a private jet, the bit that stands in for making it big. Comes up any time the money talk gets ambitious.

It started as a tattoo gone wrong. One of the boyz set out to get 'fear no one' inked in another language, trusted Google Translate — and walked away permanently wearing 'fear everyone' instead. The mistranslation became legend, the crew got matching 'fear everyone' tattoos to seal it, and it grew into the tiger-merch motto and the show's whole paranoid worldview, played for laughs.

Where the whole universe started: in 2007 Bart and Joe, two guys mimicking the loud 'uncle' regulars at their MMA gym, picked up a camera as Unco Same (Bart) and Unco Chin (Joe) — and that duo became JustKiddingFilms.

The house rule: make a wild claim on this show and someone will, eventually, ask you to prove it.

Bart's all-purpose deflation. The second anyone — usually Anthony — starts a story that makes them sound like a big deal (a fan wanting a photo, say), Bart cuts in with the four words that end it: 'but you didn't even win.'

The comment-section bit that took over 2025: '<name> is the type of guy to ___' — and it's almost entirely about Anthony. The rest of the crew catch the occasional stray; Anthony got a whole library written about him.

The sarcastic feminist callback — someone hoists the BELIEVE ALL WOMEN sign and the whole table has to reckon with it. Comes back any time the topic turns to dating, accusations, or who's actually lying.

The recurring all-Steve format — and the show's most polarizing bit. Half the chat lives for it, the other half swears it sucks.

One of the all-time cursed graphics-and-callback bits. Genuinely too cursed to explain — watch the receipts below and it'll click.

Joe is mentally still in feudal Japan — samurai haircut, swords, a worldview stuck a few centuries back. The crew keeps checking whether he's made it back to the present yet.

Ryanimay's alter-ego. Somewhere along the way Ryan became Omicron, and it stuck.

Bart's all-time tall tale that's actually true. As a U.S. Marine (~2005) he told the Corps he was Korean and spoke the language to land a translator slot on a Korea deployment — really just so he could get over there with his Korean best friend. Passed the full background check, then couldn't translate a word and quietly let the actual Korean guys do the talking. Every non-military person calls cap; every Marine vet says it's the most Marine thing they've ever heard. He's retold it a hundred times and it still lands.

The crew's permanent designation for Anthony: the number one sex haver. Deployed to knock him down a peg, explain any of his life choices, or just because.

The era the boyz declared out loud: 'tough shit — the girls aren't coming back.' The moment the crew stopped chasing the old format and leaned all the way into what the show is now.

The cursed age-cutoff catchphrase — 'she's 12, but 13 in September.' Born alongside Old Enough for Kisses and printed on a shirt to match.

Steve's crypto-adventure saga — the Luna arc. Crypto Corner's most infamous chapter, when 'Professor Steve Greene's' bull case rode the Luna coin straight into table legend.

The most creep-coded phrase on the show — say you went on one and you've outed yourself. Steve is the self-appointed enforcer who draws the line at the term, which only makes him the prime suspect. His personal hell: a matching daddy-daughter-date party thrown for his own birthday.

Bart the robot — zeros and ones, can't-be-a-real-boy, 'I'm not a human being.' The running bit that Bart processes the world a little too literally to be carbon-based.

The conspiracy bit they keep dragging back out. Never serious, and it gets bigger every time they bring it back.

A fully-formed character the crew summons out of nowhere. The captions can't even spell it — that's how you know it's canon.

One of the absurd alternate careers the table assigns Anthony — the humble shoe cobbler. Part of the running fake-résumé bit about what Anthony 'really' does for a living.

The other half of Anthony's fake-résumé bit — the noodle salesman. The joke that landed a little too close to home, since he actually co-founded the KinjaBang noodle brand.

The Jewish-lady alter ego. Spun out of the recurring 'why are you such a good Jewish lady?' topic — the crew slips into nagging Jewish-mom voices and a fully-named character falls out.

Joe's permanent table title — the Sh*t Boy. It's stuck hard enough to be his official aka on the cast page.
