05 Welcome back to another episode of the Careful Boys. All right, Bart, finish the sentence, okay? I wish my partner was MORE GAY. GAY. >> [laughter] >> GAY. >> [laughter] >> AMERICAN AMERICAN I wish she was more gay. >> [laughter] >> The most immature thing that could have happened. Yeah, [laughter] highly immature, dude. Why can't you be more gay, Geo? She's pretty gay already, dude. >> Is she? Geo? Well, she's pretty like tomboyish, that makes me >> Oh, okay, yeah, yeah, yeah. Yeah. I'm gay. But she's pretty tomboyish, I feel like. So, that's that's your answer? >> [laughter] >> Them saying gay, you're just rolling >> Your partner was more blank.
57 Was more stable. Stable? Emotionally stable. >> Really? Is she not emotionally stable? >> that's impossible. >> She's one, she's a woman, so that's already like >> [laughter] >> And then she's Latina. So, it's like >> [cheering] >> It's like ████ sine and cosine. Yeah. [laughter] Cosine. At the same time. But they can't help it cuz they're women. Yeah, but you know what? My ████ I radar's getting way better. So, the other day, I forgot what she was saying, but she was saying so- she said something with a little like little ████ spice in her tone. And I was like, "B████, are you on your period?" And then she was like, and she's more self-aware, too, now. So, she's like, "You know what? I think I'm
48 going to start." I'm like I sensed it. I knew the ████ monster was coming. >> Took us 20 years, huh? Yeah. I could sense it and she could sense it now. So now I'm like, you you know what? This week we won't take anything personal. Oh, okay. And then I also know two days into the period she gets crazy lovey-dovey out of nowhere. Like I'm not even doing ████ Oh, that's so sweet. You wiped the counter or whatever. I mean, ████ that's the period talking to. I'm not doing [laughter] nothing. Even the positive ████ Not even credit? Okay. Yeah, cuz I don't get lured in, right? And I'm like, oh, cool. Lured lured Lured into happiness? Lured lured into her like, oh, her sweetness, right? And we're all ████ sweet and we end the day like holding hands and closing our
38 eyes. >> You don't want to get lured into that? [laughter] >> And then when you wake up, it's the ████ monster in front of you. You're like, ████ why did I get my HOPES UP? >> [laughter] >> I SEE. I GET IT NOW. IT'S CUZ the sine and cosine. I'd rather just Do you do the other way around when the ████ monster's already there? You start trying to lovey-dovey that one so that when you wake up it's like I already know what the ████ monster likes. She likes space. So I I put on my biohazard suit for the week and I just ████ poke it at her with one of those, you know, the ████ claw thing. If she needs something from a distance afterwards, the next three weeks she's normal. Regular person. The person I fell in love with. But the the one week it's the >> [laughter] >> Finish the sentence. I wish my partner
29 was more Was more uh >> [snorts] >> Hmm. I don't know if it's like a one-word thing. He has a laundry list? >> No, they're just like >> [laughter] >> IT'S JUST LIKE >> WORD WOULD JUSTIFY. >> Pick one out of the 20 I want. I wish my partner was more of a cinephile. Ah. >> What's >> Yeah. She like >> Well, she just doesn't like movies as much like anywhere near as much as I like to watch them. So, it's like one of those things where like She She puts a lot of effort into try. But I don't I wish it wouldn't have to be like that. I wish I wouldn't have to like, you know, know that she's trying to enjoy this. You [laughter] know what I mean? That's all. And it's the same, right? Shows and TV stuff, but then like >> She don't like movies? If we sit and watch a movie, I could just tell that
19 she it's not where what she would like to be doing. So, I feel bad making her do that. So, I just ended watching most movies by myself. Is it cuz there's not enough dancing? She doesn't [laughter] care about that. What's the part of the cinephile that you like you wish she likes like I guess watching more movies or does it have to be like deeper movies or is it just like I think it might just be like like it's this sounds so pretentious, but like I had to learn this too. How to watch movies. It's like a thing where like I didn't I didn't know really how to watch movies for most of my life. And then over time I'm like, oh, there's an actual like way to appreciate and pay attention to like details and enjoy like I you'll enjoy most movies more when you watch it with like that kind of uh Do you watch Do you
10 watch So, but educate me. What's the right way to watch a movie? I don't know. I I really don't know what the right way to but I I just know that like I didn't appreciate I would just look at movies for a lot of my life. And I would be like, "Entertain me, movie. You better be good." Versus like you're trying to meet the movie halfway. Where you're like, "Oh, that's the world you're building? Okay, I'm going to live in that world. I'm going to not treat these people like they're actors. I'm going to actually believe it, you know, so that you can enjoy it." Like that. Like and you kind of just get sucked into it easier. You enjoy it more. >> like So, the way I walk through like a museum, right? It's 1 second per painting. No, yeah, that's a good That's a good way. Yeah. But then people that know how to look at paint, it's like 30 minutes. Yeah, that's that's a That's really good cuz then they like this what the the shadow on the face symbolizes this that happened in the 18th century or whatever. The apple on
01 the table is a symbol for and there's so much meaning that they extract from that. Is that what you're talking about like when you watch the movie, there's actually so much more to what's going on than like you're not watching a reel. You're watching actual art. >> You're not listening to everything they're saying. You also some like people who write scripts strategically want you to hear what they're not saying. You know, just little things like that. It's not It goes into the realm of like being really ████ snobby so I hate talking about it, but there is like a thing that I had to learn over time that when I watch movies now, I just have a great time. And I'm like, damn. I wish like like she had that so that we we could do it together. But I'm okay that she doesn't, but it would be a nice ████ surprise bonus if someday it did, you know. I like [laughter] the thought of thinking of how she's like, "If it doesn't got dance in it, I don't want it." So they're just I'm only watching Grease. I'm only watching musicals.
52 She does like musicals, yeah. We like We like musicals together, but yeah, just movies in general I'm so excited about different movies or, you know, I I watch a like a a movie pretty often, but I usually I just do it by myself, yeah. Do you like a movie a day? Not a movie a day. Not not that often, but like if I'm going to sit and eat something and I'm alone, 100% I'm putting a movie on. Aw. I'm the same. I definitely wish that she was more into movies versus just like trash TV all the time. It's always reality TV. Which is I get it. It's not There's nothing wrong with it. It's just more like it would be nice if we had more time like versus like splitting the TV and like you choose this time. It's like we both just happen to be into this type of thing. That's all when we do find like a TV show like a Severance or Pluribus something and we both happen to like it, I feel like that's why I like the show so much more. I'm like, "We both like it. Finally,
42 ████ yes." I Yeah, yeah, yeah. Watch all the other YouTube videos that are talking about it together, too. Like the whole thing. Yeah. You're both sitting your TV, you're talking about it versus like Yeah, it's sometimes like I know you're sitting there watching because like I've been sitting here watching all your reality ████ that I don't give a ████ about and asking questions. So, now you're like, "I'll watch a movie for this guy." But, I know you don't give a ████ [laughter] That's That's the thing. Like I just I I've conceded, but like also it's it's like a thing where like she doesn't like the slow burn of stuff. So, like if I'm watching a movie and I know it's She'll never love movies She'll will watch She'll will watch a movie, right? And there's like a mystery of why this guy is doing this thing. And I'm just like, "Wow, I can't wait TO SEE THAT SHE'S ALREADY LOOKING UP WHY HE'S DOING AND I'M LIKE, "What are you doing?" Don't ruin it. You're ruining it for yourself. >> ████ don't know. We got to like And she's like, "I just want to know what
32 happens. What is this?" You know, I'm like, "Oh, no." Yeah, she just you know Or Nina will always be like anytime I'm excited about the possibility of something, she'll be like, "Oh, it's too much of commitment." And I'm like, So, for some reason it doesn't track. She can do like seven episodes of a reality TV show binge in a row for like seven hours, but can't commit [laughter] to like an Oscar-winning movie for like two hours. That's hilarious. >> Yeah, yeah, yeah. You know what I mean though? Because I get it. Like you have to It's like you're you're saying and I get it. It's like you you have to dive in. Like things like reality shows you don't have to meet halfway. It's like in your face. It's slammed slam You can kind of just jump in and out versus like needing to hold on to need to be meeting halfway. So, I get it, but it's just it's it's funny. We found like cool compromises. Like if certain movies have really, really
23 stand-out design elements, like Wes Anderson films, we we can both enjoy it. We're both locked in cuz like she's seeing different things she likes. I'm seeing what I like and and the aesthetic is like so strong that we're there together. But, if it's like, you know, ████ anything else, then I'm just I'm other stuff." You know. Or just go on your phone. I don't care. Cinematographic person. >> [laughter] >> I'm going to be super selfish and super shallow. You wish she had bigger tits? Wow. They're huge right now, I'll tell you that. Those things are milk gutters. >> [laughter] >> I'm sorry, Mom, Dad. It's already 10 minutes, they're not watching. They clicked away. >> [laughter] >> Uh what is it? I wish she was more into golf. Oh, [laughter] really? Oh, yeah, you said she was really good, right?
13 >> Solid. The thing is if she if she wanted to, right? And so like there was that point where like I was getting into it and then she happened to get into it and like we really enjoyed it and she was like she was getting competitive cuz that when she gets into something she gets into it fast and heavy. It's amazing. But if she's over something she's over. Oh, okay. ████ you know? Yeah, so she's done with it, but like when she was doing it and and this is a this is a tried and true thing for so many things within golf. Golf is such like a a precision, patience, momentum, flow, blah blah blah, which is why guys often times ████ around and suck because we have so much ego. We just want to stripe that ball ████ far. Girls aren't like, "I want to hit it as far as possible." So they're just like, "What's the technique?" And they're like doing it with way more precision. That's why like girl golfing, like when you watch it, it's a little bit more boring, but it's always so precise. And they always wear really short skirts and then they
03 have a link to their only fans. Perfect. But yeah, so when she was playing there was times where she was just there was time where she beat me, too, and I was like, "What the >> Wait, wow, she was that good?" You know, I was that bad. No, let her you can't let her do that, dude. Assert your dominance. So hard that she quit and I'm now I'm regretting it, you know. Off by your competitive nature? That's it because it's it's not so much like I care like honestly if I were to be really selfish, you don't even need to play golf. You just need to come ride with me in the golf cart watch me play golf for 4 hours, you know? But obviously, it's more fun if you just play. I don't know. That's all right. Outdoors, it's it's it's like get out there, like breathing fresh air, do something kind of like it's not really athletic, but it is, you know? Does she um does she watch dance videos? Nah. She has no interest at all. I don't have
53 interest at all. >> [laughter] >> Oh, but you don't watch any dance ████ either? I do because it's like, you know, you're supposed to, and then you follow friends and you care about your friends, so you watch what your friends are doing. So I do it like But it's not even in her algo. I don't think so. >> Damn. No. I mean, it'll be for like by way of cat's eye. Is she as interested in AI as you are? ████ no. But what if it was to help the baby? She's interested in me being successful. Oh, okay. >> Are you asking these questions to see if you guys have any shared interests? >> see what which which the interests are like kind of crossing. Yeah, what does Oh, for me and her, like what things actually do cross a lot? Wrestle machines? >> [laughter] >> Oh, man. I think we we definitely enjoy food. Uh we the fact that the fact that she'll explore everything
44 with me and not say no. So like we'll go snowboarding together even if she's not good at it. We'll go fishing together. We'll we'll go golfing together. And she might fall out of it, but she'll always try everything with me. We'll go hiking together. We'll do this together. We'll we'll we'll try this new thing. We'll go play Legos together. Start this puzzle. Like she'll do everything. >> That's But it might not necessarily be like, I like this. I want to keep doing it. Me, I might fall in love with something and be like, "Oh, let's do some more of it, you know?" But she'll get bored. Yeah, she'll she'll jump ship quick. I see. >> But at least the initial interest, she's down cuz some people just have no interest at all. 100% and that's Yeah. >> Yeah, her too. That's cool. So that's very very fun. So you wish she had more commitment. >> [laughter] >> That's funny. Man, why do you never commit it? Golf obsessed freaking wife, yeah. I don't know any girls really that deep
35 dive that hard. Unless they're but if they're autistic >> Unless they're lesbian. >> If they're autistic.
