00 [Music] Welcome back to another episode of Careful Boys. We're here celebrating the fact that Jesus was able to escape deportation. That's right. For now. And now it was easy. It was easy. Very easy. No. How easy is it to uh escape ice if you see them coming? Well, I don't think it's Well, you got to have Listen, you got to have good conditioning. You know what I You got another you got to do a little good shimmy hamstrings. Yeah. But you know, soccer helps you for that. You know, it's kind of crazy that social media has become kind of like a beacon for passing that word, right? They're like ice here. Like these are the locations and then everybody reposts it and stuff and then like people I don't know if you know people are paying attention to it, but like that's crazy.

52 I get alerts all day. People are like, "Yo, Ice is bro, the whole Pasadena is all like saying, "Oh, Ice is here. Ice is here. Ice is here." Didn't they try to go to Dodger Stadium and they like blocked them or something? And then they said and then Ice like tweeted and said like, "We were never there." And they posted a bunch of pictures of like them at Dodger Stadium. They tried to go to Dodger Stadium and the Dodgers refused them to come in cuz they want people cuz you know the Dodgers want the money, the people that are going to come in. So I was like these like games. There's games right now, the soccer game that a lot of Latinos like to go to. And I went to the Rose Bowl yesterday and it was like empty. No way. It was empty. I was like, I've never seen it like empty. It was PSG. I mean, ████ PSG is a big deal. Popping up in the grass. I feel like kids love baseball. I feel like it should be a federal thing that like you

42 can't go to sporting. Like I cannot go to sporting. That's that's amnesty, right? You would think so, huh? Safe space. Safe space. Safe. This is safe, dude. This is safe. ████ safe, dude. If I bought a ticket, I'm safe, dude. They ████ get into the arena. It's like, haha. And they're just like right there like, "F███." Those are dead giveaways, though. I'm sure you'll catch a bunch. If you go to Dodgers, Raiders, what other maybe Kings I looked into how they look for people because I was like, are they just like pulling up and going, "Hey, Mexican, get your ass over here." Right. Or like or like whatever. Um, accurate. They have a list. It's called the It's called a uh Yeah. Like a target list, right? So if they already they cuz everyone knows like if you you know if you violated your visa or whatever cuz they they actually like So my wife is going through this right now with the

32 immigration ████ and then it's like they know where we are, what state we're in. They we just have to report back. And is Hannah going to get iced? No, because we do it the right way. Whoa. Hold on. You got to marry a Japanese guy to stay in his country. Are you saying there's a wrong way, brother? 50% are visa violations, though. 50% of them are. So, they have a list and then they go they go like, "Okay, well, there's actual like not only did they violate this, but on top of that, there's a criminal offense that they did." So, like, let's say like your uncle with a DUI or whatever, right? So, there's like they stack those on and then they go, "Okay, well, here's the list." There's actually three of them working at this restaurant. So, we could go and get all three at once, but when they get there, then they'll ask everybody for their

23 papers and then they might get two, three more people because they, you know, just so find, you know, they're they're all working at the same place together. So, I'm like, "Oh, okay." So, it's not like a random pull up to a taco truck and it just be like, "Where's your papers, Mexican?" Catching ducks at the park. Yeah. Well, that's what the news made it seem like. It made it seem like that. Disagree. I disagree cuz I think they're literally just cuz the reason why I disagree is because they're literally I think it's where they're driving by and they see a Mexican. They just ████ go and get him. That's exactly what's happening. Cuz you see they're literally at a ████ bus stop. You mean to tell me they know that he's at a ████ bus stop? They know that guy. They go like, "Hey, Charles at a ████ bus stop. He's going in there." They don't know he's at a bus stop. Then why the ████ are they getting They're doing it all. They're like, "Oh, while we're here." Yeah, that's exactly what I think they're doing right now. They have a ████ I think Trump just gave him a free fall be like just get as many as

14 you can. These guys are ████ like cowboys are just like hell yeah woo just rounding them all up. I think that that's exactly what's happening cuz they're just stopping at every ████ What's the way to get away? Let's say you put on the uh your white voice. Put on a white voice. You think it'll stop them? Uh like be like if a cop pulls up on you and you put on the brightest version of you possible. Let me see your papers. Excuse me. Don't you dare point that ████ finger at me. All right, sir. I'm so sorry. Don't you say I'm a full-blooded American. Hawk to your face. But then the spitting gives it away though. Hot two in the floor because I'm upset. Trying to miss your face. I'm upset. All right. You assumed I spit in your face, but I spit at the floor. That's what everyone just needs to learn. It's the white

05 voice. And I think you're good. I actually have a wife named Karen, but we call her Karen. Karen Karen. You got to be like, I'm Greek. I'm not Mexican. I'm Greek. Can you visually tell a difference between someone who's illegal and who's legal? Like if you as a judge, if you were like judging a pageant, all you got to do is tell one thing. Can you say Walmart? That will give you a dead giveaway if they're buying out. Say Walmart. Walmart. Get him right now. This guy's out of here. Got little tests. You can do little test. Walmart. Yeah. Walmart. You know, you put a salsa in there and then you put another, you know, ketchup. Like, which one would you pick? I want [Laughter]

55 There's little There's a little test you can do. They can't resist it. They can't resist, you know. But to get away, I don't know. You got to I just stop going to work and run. But that's why people are like uh saving up money to give them to support the immigrants. We are saving up money like GoFundMe and they're giving them to families. So don't work. Just don't work. Just stay here till ████ cools off, you know? These guys have to wait. Wait it out. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. It is. It is tough. In all seriousness, it is a little ████ up because they are like in the community they are like saying goodbye to the families. Yeah. Yeah. Cuz they don't know if they're going to leave or not. And they're taking up Americans, too. They're taking some people that are just straight up Americans. Yeah, I know. I didn't know that, too. Really? They're like cuz they're just round them up and they'll figure it out later, but you're in this jail in this holding cell going back to Illinois by size and then they're all just like you're just like, "Dude, I'm not I don't even ████ belong here. Don't talk to me. We're not

45 ████ friends. I'm going to try to get out." You know, you're literally like born in East LA. Born in East LA. Do you have remember that? You can't get a license if you don't have papers, right? You need a license. You can. I think you can. Yeah, you can. In Macarthur Park, you can. Yeah. So, there's ways, buddy. There's ways. They snatch you up. you pull out a driver's license, you're like, "Oh s███." Well, that's why the the the the real ID is for cuz it's literally like you're only real citizens have that's the real ID. Yeah. Everybody I think everybody got their driver's license and they can't get all of them. So they're like, "Oh, let's try to get a real." Yeah. Wasn't that due? Isn't that Yeah. It was like May this year, right? Yeah. Oh, trust me. I went to the ████ airport, almost missed my flight because of that. Oh, so shouldn't everybody who's supposed to have a real ID have a real ID? Like wouldn't that be a lot of people just have they just bring their passport?

35 that you need to have. You don't want to encourage you to have at that point. I'm not saying just for traveling. I'm saying conceptually, right? Like you're supposed to get a real ID if you want to travel. Other than that, you would have a passport if you wanted to. Right. So, but then other than that, it's like what's the benefit of having a real ID then. Thank you. Yeah. Right. If you don't only if you leave the country or not everyone flies unless unless now it's it's important because then you have a real ID if somebody like picks you up and you're like, "Hey, hey, real guy." Yeah. I mean, dude, uh, in all seriousness, we went to I went to a soccer game yesterday and my girl was like calling me to be like, "Yo, take your password just in case." I'm like, "Get the ████ out of here." She's like, "I'm serious. Take your" And I'm like, in my back of my mind, I'm like, "What if?" I don't know. You know what? What if Mexicans love soccer? This comover gets you so far until they're like, "Nah, this guy's ████ Mexican as ████ Get him out of here." So, I was just like, "Uh, I brought my passport

26 just in case." I'm walking around with my passport thinking like, "What the f███?" And I started to do I was drunk and I started ████ with them, dude. I went up to I'm citizen. Is it okay? They're like, "Yeah, dude. It's fine." Oh, dude. Don't worry about it, man. You know why people have that guilt? Oh, dude. Don't worry about it. You're one of us, Jose. I do not like what's going on over there. You know, Lenny, you know, you're you're a good one, dude. You're a good one. Thank you. I appreciate it. I seen the video. I seen a video of this guy that they were they chased down. They caught him and then they checked his stuff and they're like, "You're not illegal." And he's like, they're like, "Why'd you run?" He's like, "I don't know." Yo, I might ████ run. I got scared. Like, it's like that reaction to like run when they're just coming. Like, what are you doing? What are you running? They're also escalating all the ████ situations. So, what do you what do you suggest if someone is illegal and they

16 see ice coming? Should they run or should they play it cool? I would ████ with them if you're if you're legal. If you're legal, I ████ with ████ with them with ice. Legal. Hey, legal. Oh, illegal. If you're illegal, no. Like, what's the best way to go about like do cuz you can't take off and run. They're just going to You Well, that's the thing. I think that's the best way. What are you going to do? What do you You're not going to conversate with them and trick them. You can't ████ You don't think there's a way to finesse him? No, we're not. ████ This isn't Star Wars. We're not going to be like, "Yo, I'm legal." And you guys are just like like, you know, the illegals you're looking for? He is legal. Get him out of here. ████ Who's next? Is there you storm trooper? What the ████ going on? No. Yeah, dude. You're ████ Just you're ████ Let's be honest. Look, they're ████ Like, if you see ████ ice, you know, either you're running or if you can do American accent, do the American accent. I don't know. Figure it

07 out. But I think you're limited on Start doing classes for that. Yeah, dude. I don't know. Yeah, you're you're you're kind of you're you're ████ dude. Who's an Who's an American person that you think Mexican people should study to like try to sound like them? Oh, ████ Chuck Norris. Good. Chuck Norris. All the news people if you speak like that dude news people that wouldn't make it sound obvious that they tried to news people sound so professional that you believe anything they say on today's news like ████ the news it's going to rain it's going to rain we're going to say thunderstorms by 8:00 it's going to rain 8:00 why guy says so yeah so I think you have to have like a strong Caucasian voice, right? Or you got to have a white guy. Listen, immigrants, get yourself a white guy to

58 stand right next to to fight for you, stand right in front of you. Sing's a lawyer. You know, there's there's this famous uh uh video and picture of that that Asian guy stood in front of the tank and didn't move. Remember that? Oh, in China or whatever. He didn't move in front of Oh my god. You need a white guy to stand in front of you. You got to be the tank. And that guy got you got to have a ████ white guy stand in front of you, you dude. I think the Asian guy got squished though. Did he? I think so. I think I got ran over by the tank. Well, that's China though. The Chinese driver. They play a little different. I thought that didn't even Sorry. You know how like there's a lot of cases for like Asians where um where they try to come here legally, but then they get scammed by the lawyer. How often does that happen in Mexico? What do you mean? Oh, like let's say you're trying to get you're in Mexico, you want to come here legally. You try to get a lawyer in Mexico, but that lawyer ends up scamming you cuz that happens a lot in Asia. I

48 don't think that we have that. I don't think there's lawyers to get Hold on, hold on, hold on. It doesn't work. Like, hold on, hold on. I've never heard a ████ guy in Mexico who says, "Guess what? You're a citizen now." Yes. And they get their bag and they ████ go in citizen now. No, I think it's No, I've never heard it. It's never That's the legal way to do it. Immigration lawyers. I've never heard of Let me tell you, I've never heard of somebody. I've never heard of somebody being in Mexico being a citizen and then able to like start coming back over here. Immigration lawyer here hiding and they get their papers here and they're like, "We did it. Now they can open the door and come out of the house ████ comfort me." Like that is how half my

39 family did it. Yeah. Like they're all hid, you know, they hide for 20 years in a ████ you know, in the back room. Damn, that's so funny. Have you heard of an immigration lawyer? Yeah, the immigration lawyers are in they're that's what I'm saying. Like, oh, they're here. They're here. So, you got to physically get to them here first. Well, I think that if you're in Mexico, like it's like, yeah, that's it. We're worried about you. You're the last thing I'm worried about. They do it afterwards. I think that I think that if you're here so it's that easy to like come over that cuz we know we know we know a ton of people that came here illegally, right? I don't know why I put that in quotes but they came and then they eventually got their citizenship through a lawyer bunch of them. Yeah, that's like how most of them do it. I think I think you're right cuz uh I just got mine ████ because I remember when I lived in North Carolina there was this Mexican dude that I met two Mexican dudes and they would work here and they

29 would go back to Mexico and I'm like why would you go back to Mexico? You're already here. is like, "No, I mean, I have a license." Like, they have a license to work. Like, he's doing it the right way. Like, he literally goes and works and comes back home and then goes back and then he But every year and I'm like, "Fool, you're already he's like, "For what?" I just like I do I'm here to just work, collect my money, and I'm fine. Yeah, I guess. He's on a real visa. So, I'm like, "Oh, ████ There's people that are actually doing it the right way. I guess I'm I'm meeting the backups. I'm around the bad ones. around the people. They're just like like, "No, I'll just I'll just go. I'll just go over there and figure it out later." The fact that Mexican lawyer ad around with the big billboards that say immigration or immigration and then like immigration, he's like got a big mustache. I've seen the two same guy cuz like my auntie, she had to

20 get uh she had to get an immigration lawyer in Vietnam and then she had to get sponsored by my family in order and get that approved. That's the right way though. But then Asians, they can't risk much cuz we can't just go right back out of the border. It's a whole ass ocean. So you got to plan and be like, "All right, when I'm there, I got to stay there." Yeah. Asians are you guys are really like, you know, the way you guys do, you're very sneaky. You let like the yell and do Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. This is what we can do. We can do this. This and they're like, "We like the communists over here. Bring in the com people. These ████ That's You guys are very coolest. This is what we can do. We can do You see all the Chinese people go through the border. Money around, you know. Oh yeah. You see all the Chinese people go through the border like with all the other Mexicans? Like they came through. They had they came in like luggage. They had they look like regular military age. Man, they paid the same guys that get Mexican. The coyotes.

12 Yeah. Yeah. And they went through and there was there was like a story of just a bunch of Chinese people. Record number of Chinese people got in like So if China bordered ████ California, you know, our people are going to be just walking through. That's crazy. This is bad, dude. just picturing all the Mexicans being mad about that. I can't believe these guys just come in the country to go to Mexico. They had they had some kind of a like a group chat a group chat that instructed them who to pay when they got to Mexico. They had like the whole pipeline figured out. Oh yeah. They go like go through this fence. It's like a white fence. It's like broken. Whatever. It's like when you go to Airbnb and they give you the chicken like that. I was like this looks like my Airbnb fold the blankets and the throw. They have like a more like bougie service because they pay top dollar for like staying in hotels and ████ and they're over from China. Yeah. I mean, listen, if the Great Wall could have stopped them, what the ████ is the ████ The Great Walls to keep them in.

04 It was okay, but it still didn't work. But it still didn't work. They got over if they got over that wall, dude. The idea of like there's no immigration lawyers in Mexico's really what is I never heard of. I never heard like I never heard that. That's pretty funny. That's why it was like before lie to me, please. We're leaving tonight. It's like I never I never seen that celebration, you know, and the neighbors all mad like he got his papers. Damn. You think you think the Asians that are getting picked up at nail salons by ICE and stuff like that is like a like a visa expiration type? They said 50% of them are visa violations. I think it's overstated. I feel like visa violations are real. I never I didn't hear about this visa violation. So, this is the thing. I didn't hear about this. This is

54 the way most Asians do it is um they come here on a travel visa and then they just don't go back. They just keep working and then after they're done they go back. Oh. Cuz they're working under the table anyway. Yeah. Like like the Chinese style I think is most of them they know they're just going to save up and go back. So like a lot of them come in, they work, work, work, and then they go back. Yeah. But then it's that's why it's hard for some countries where if you got to show the bank account, you got to go to the embassy. They're like, "Are you sure you're just coming here to travel?" Cuz some countries is like there's just too many of that happening. Yeah. That's crazy. Y I just think it's a I think it's a trip to dirt mad. At the end of the day, if you like put everything to the side and you just focus on what's happening, they're they're mad cuz they're working

46 in a country. Like that's what they're mad about. They're like, "No, they're ████ quit." At the end of the day, all they want to do is work and they're mad about that. That's taking the money out of us. What do you mean they still pay taxes? They still have to pay the taxes. I mean, it's getting paid under the table. The taxes back under the table? Yeah. Under the table. Under the table for you. Yeah. Yeah. I mean, but they're like, you know, buying houses and ████ doing all kinds of stuff. I I I mean, I hear what you're saying. I I think it's the um conceptually I agree. I think it's the idea that like if there are other like Americans that legally live here or that were born here that maybe have less opportunity. They're gonna be farmers, which is almost like um Yeah, that's what that's what I that's where I'm Okay, that's where I like that's where I like you lose me because the job, let's be honest. The jobs that they're doing, they don't want to do. Let's just face

36 it. Nobody wants to do construction. Nobody wants to be around at that sun. Nobody ████ wants to be in the fields. So, it's like, what are they talking about? Nobody's trying to, you know, cover up for Iran, dude. That's what I think. Yeah. Now you're talking now. That's what I think, dude. You know what I mean? So, I don't believe that part cuz they can go get these jobs. They just don't like these. I've been around white people that work construction. They last like a couple of months and they're ████ out of it. They're going to get the clipboard. They become supervisors and that's it. They get a little more laid-back job where they get to supervise and that's it because they don't want to be there. They don't like it. So, when they say like like illegal immigrants file taxes, how do they file taxes? I don't know. They uh I think it's like through like a fix. I don't know what the ████ they do, but I cuz my family always paid taxes, but some of them were they illegal cuz I remember like don't pay those taxes. So

27 I'm like that doesn't give them away like their position and address. We knew we we know a bunch of people that are illegal and they still pay their taxes and they go to tax guy every year. I don't know how it works but they pay their taxes. Yeah, they don't have any of that. And they buy houses. How do they And also how do they buy houses? They buy houses too. I don't understand it either. So either that and when you buy a house, you're paying for some type of tax or they buying it through a relative's name. No, no, no, no, no. Their own name. Their own name. Their own name. Their own name. So that's how how does that work? Isn't that a huge risk? And I told my dad, I was like, "How do you guys?" And I told my dad like, "How do you guys buy houses if you know foreign investors?" So I don't know what that means. You don't have to be a citizen to buy a home. That's why there's foreign investors. But it's still KYC though, right? Like they know who it is. If you're illegal, they don't know who you are. How about if someone

17 doesn't even have identification? So like let's say you're illegal and you and you the only ID you have if you have if you're if you're a foreign investor like this is my ID from China or whatever. But if you're here illegally, you're not going to go this is my ID from Mexico. Like you have to show something. Even a foreigner can get a driver's license here, right? That's the part I don't know. I think I'm so disconnected to it. Here's the thing, guys. I don't know. Well, but we know people that have IP they have jobs, they pay rent. Are they going through the normal medium? No. I don't I don't know what it is, but they they have bank account. Driver's license being a citizen. You can I don't know how you do that, but but also it depend. Okay. Like depends on how you're talking about because it says many undocumented immigrants do pay taxes in the US even

07 if they aren't authorized to work or live here legally. One is through an ITIN, individual taxpayer identification number. The IRS issues ITIN to people who don't have a social security number but still need to file taxes. Millions of undocumented workers use ITIN to file federal and state tax returns every year. Interesting. Two is payroll and sales tax. Many undocumented immigrants use fake or borrowed social security numbers to get jobs. As a as a result, they pay payroll tax and they won't collect benefits from these contributions. And then the other is no refunds, no benefits. Even though they pay in, most cannot claim social security, Medicare, or many welfare programs. It's estimated that undocumented immigrants contribute more to the system than they take out. That's hilarious. Well, there you go. There it is. You have to use a fake identity. Or an ITIN. They're issued one by the IRS for the sake of taxes in most people get the ITN. And then some people, my uncles would tell me like, they'll literally be

59 I got to pay taxes next week. And I was always like, Alex, if you're like, you know, so if they're if they're doing the ITIN route, I don't think they're illegal then. They're doing the right procedure. I think what they're talking, you know what I mean? Cuz they're still following the book. It's just that they don't have a social security number but still need to file taxes. And if they're undocumented, then they can still I guess. Yeah. But that's still that's still legal means. I think illegal means are people that are just completely off radar under the table. Millions of people use it. So maybe that's a legal means to begin work, but like you still I think it might be assumed that you still need to like get a social security number. There's more people. Okay. There there are a lot of immigrants that are just here just to collect as much money as they can to get the ████ out or they're sending money back home and they're living like like a teenager. They're like renting a room and they're

49 just sending money out, sending money out, sending money out. And those people I think are the ones that you're talking about like they never pay taxes, never to contribute. They just don't give a ████ give a ████ about this country. is more about sending money back home, getting as much money as they can back home until I get deported. But there's for the majority, I think, are people who decided to buy houses here cuz the every immigrant's plan was to come here, make some money, and get the ████ out. But the kids grew up here. They learned English. They became comfortable with the land. They're just like, you know what? They went back home and or like they're just like the my parents already passed. Everybody's here. Everybody grew up. My family's here now. So I'm here now. This is where I'm at. This is my home now. So I think that's what's happening cuz I met a lot of people like that who when I was a kid, they were all talking about going back home. And now they all ████ live here. They all have families here. Their kids are here, you know? Now you're doing it with all

40 this immigration ████ All it's doing is like sparking up that kid who's growing up and saying, you know what, ████ this. I want to become a lawyer to help my people. And that's what's happening. A lot more Latinos are graduating, getting degrees to help out what's happening, you know? So hopefully they do something. Hopefully one of them becomes a ████ senator or some ████ Just passing some laws. Uh president or something. Senator, president, coach, life coach, supervisor. Or be a superhero, dude.
