But I was crying for >> I did see I did have this movie moment on a plane where uh I was traveling with my boy Ving and his wife back in the day and they're sitting in the row behind me. I'm in the row in front and I got two big dudes next to me. Right mid movie. It's an international flight. I turn around and they're both just balling, right? I'm [laughter] like, "Bing, bing." Bing and his wife. They're
5:09 balling. I'm like, "What the ████ What did you watch?" They're like, "Oh, we watched this movie. You should watch it." And I was like, "Hell no. I'm not going to watch a ████ movie. You cry in front of these two big dudes right here, right?" I'm like, "Hell no." I turned back around. I'm not watching that movie. So, I just I'm looking through and I put on this other movie. I put on a movie called A Monster Calls. Next. Okay. Basically, it's a kid who uh like his his parents or his father like committed a suicide or something like that. So like he retracts into this back of his mind and in his imagination like there's he copes with these imaginary monsters, right? But like you don't know like the depth of it until like the very end as well. Next thing you know I watch this movie I'm crying [laughter] by myself in front of these like with these two big dudes here. I turn back around. They're like did you WATCH I'M LIKE NO [laughter] WATCH a monster calls. It's so good. That's why I only watch ████ dumb Jason state the movies on a plane cuz I

[laughter] >> But then like at the end he wants to like win or lose on his own. So he shoots it and he's about to like put the ball in and then he goes, "Let it go." And then the ghost just goes and [laughter] >> it misses. >> Why is it that it's so much easier to cry like in an airplane than just watching it in the living room? >> Apparently there's like science behind it. >> I cry in the living room, too, though. >> Yeah, >> bro. I'll watch I'll watch too many dog Instagram videos. I'll start crying. >> I watch Guardians 2. I'll cry at the end when he's freaking >> Oh, bro.

So, like I've always I've said this before that I cried at the end of Final Fantasy 10, which is hilarious. I was I was 18 and like uh the ending was so good. I I I beat it the morning before I had to go to community college and I was like ████ my eyes were so like ████ up. Everybody was like, "Dude, did you break up with your girl last night?" [laughter] But there was another game I played uh like like several years later and this one made me cry hella harder and it's called to the moon and it's a really ████ sad game. In this game you play like the role of like a doctor and in this world uh they have a service where as you're on your deathbed you're allowed to ask this like um service to to implant in your memory that you
7:40 achieved all the goals you ever wanted to do right before you die. So you get to die fulfilled. >> Wow. >> It's like a like that's the story. So you're this doctor that goes in you you see this elderly man. He's he's on his deathbed and he says he goes, "I just want to know that I that I got to the moon. Like I always wanted to like go to the moon." So then they go, "Okay, we we'll make you think that you were an astronaut. You got to whatever." So they start doing it. In order for them to like make it happen, they have to go backwards in his life. So they go into his brain and they move backwards through his memories in order to find out what made you want to do this thing so that they can like create a story in your head about how you did it. So they're going back in time in his mind. They realize that like he had some like autistic wife that could never like really she was like non-verbal, couldn't really say a lot of things. So most he loved her and most of his life they just never spoke and you know that was like
8:30 the best thing in his life and then she passed away or whatever. They keep going back in his life. They realize there's a space where there's no memories and they don't know why. And then they skip over that and they realize that they find the moment where he wanted to go to the moon was because he was like he had a childhood best friend that was his girl and um they said like oh if we ever lose touch of each other let's meet on the moon like this thing and then he just never forgot that. Then they realized that there's a gap in his memory because he got in a family car accident when he was a kid and he saw his brother die. So the family medicated him with so much anti-depressants that he forgot and then so he doesn't remember why he wants to go to the moon. Then he realizes the doctor realizes that the girl that he said that to in the beginning actually was the same woman he married later in life. >> Oh wow. >> So they have to make this decision where they're like, "Okay, if we make this guy really go to the moon in his mind, it's
9:20 going to skip over the fact that he married this girl because that's not the same girl in his mind." So either they erase the wife or he does go to the moon. And so the whole game you're trying to piece together a story that makes sense for his life where he has both his wife and he goes to the moon. >> That's crazy. >> That's dope. What's the name of this movie? >> It's it's a game called To the Moon. >> Oh, it's a game. >> You get to control it. >> So you're just trying to like piece this. >> That needs to be a movie. That's sick. And then right at the end, it's crazy cuz it it takes this whole like finagling thing where they figure out a way to make it so the brother doesn't die. The girl uh stays the same and she doesn't end up with like that um deteriorated brain thing where she can't speak. Um cuz she's been trying to tell him she's the same girl their whole life and he he didn't know that. And then so uh right when they figure it out and he's he becomes an astronaut and the ████ shuttle takes off in his brain
10:10 he ████ dies before he even gets to the moon because the real happiness was like what made him want to get there. >> Yeah. It wasn't the actual game. >> And at the end the ████ things going up and I'm going [laughter] >> I was crying too, dude. I ████ cry too, man. >> Damn. >> PC game. I was like I was like [gasps] I can't breathe. [laughter] >> That's so heartbreaking. >> Yeah. Because because this fool doesn't even end up getting there. >> Those deep things, those deep moments where it's like just starting it is better than even the end will get me, too. >> Dude, that one freaking destroyed me. And it was a little video game. It take It took like a few hours to beat it, too. It was like four hours. >> The freak. That's crazy. Kind of reminds me of Eternal Sunshine. >> Yeah, very similar to that. Yeah, >> very, very similar to that. But yeah,

I watch movies and I have >> 2017 >> when Yandu dies basically and he's like freezing and he's and he's been like a hard ass to the Star-Lord the whole time. >> Sylvester Stallone and like all the people come back and finally give him his like fireworks funeral >> which they said they wouldn't do. Yeah. Freaking sick. Yeah. >> Cuz the merits of a father aren't always about just like the one who's biologically the creator. It's the one who is there to father you. >> Yeah. And then it gets revealed that he actually saved him from being killed
