00 for dates. Gabby Coffee is really good. >> Oh, Cafe Gabby's cool. Yeah, it looks like a library. Like, >> perfect date spot. >> Yo, that's a really dope spot. >> Perfect date spot. >> Can I be gay? >> Yes, you can be. >> Are you starting now or >> I'm coming out >> or or did you start 8 years ago? [Music] >> Welcome back to a very local episode of the Careful Boys, where we're going to get local. But here's the thing. local >> local brada. >> Here's the thing. We're in Vegas and everyone comes to Vegas in some way, shape, or form. >> But the thing is, when you live in Vegas, you live in a completely different Vegas. >> Well, some people live in Vegas. Vegas. >> Explain. >> Well, when you're on the way here and you like, you know, like when you're taking the main road on the strip, but

50 then you look to the left, >> those houses. >> That's true. >> People do live there, but I don't know who the hell it is. You talking about right before you get to the strip or you talking about like >> talking about before like on the strip like on the left >> like southern islands or >> like as the strip is to your right? >> He's talking about like there's those high there's those highrises that are residences >> like Arya Vara my dumb ass before me and Nikki even thought about moving to Vegas. We used to fly into Vegas and be like who would live here? Like we would go like you're going to live right there. That's so weird. And like we didn't know that Summerland existed and all this other cool ████ Like we just thought like that's where you live if you move to Vegas. So, we just had no clue. >> I think that's what people still think. Yeah. >> Yeah. I I think so, too. >> I wanted to live there >> more than >> No, you didn't. You said you don't want the magic. You don't want to lose the magic. >> No, I said I said if I wanted to try it, >> there's that there's the there's freaking new apartments being built for

40 the basketball complex that's going to happen by 2028. There's also the the new downtown Vegas Skyrise that's being built that the apartments were originally being sold for 400 grand. They're not even done building the building and now they're already at like 700 to a million >> like >> per unit. per unit. >> The A's, the Oakland A's, >> the A's, the $2.2 billion Oakland A's spot >> that's going to be done by 2028. But point of this, >> wait, how much money was that again? >> 2.2 billion. >> Wow. >> But the point is, >> everybody comes to Vegas, but if there were things that you would recommend for people who visit Vegas, like restaurants or other experiences that are not typical like blah blah blah in your face on the strip things, what are the things that are your go-tos? Like and I think the biggest thing is probably just food realistically. >> Americana >> off the strip. >> Americana.

30 >> Oh, Americana Desert Shore. >> That's already on every list of like where to eat when it's not on the strip. >> It's beautiful. >> I have. I have. So, so give give a >> shout out Michael if you're there. Shout out Michael. >> Can people go to Americana without getting uh any Okay, cool. So, it's accessible Desert Shores. Uh locationwise, you would consider that Northwest Vegas. No. >> Yeah. Northwest. >> Yeah. Northwest. Yeah. Yeah. Desert Shores area. >> But when you're there, shout out Michael. Tell him Steve Green sent you. He's a good boy. >> Really really bomb food. Yeah. >> So you're talking off the strip activities. >> The the the off thebeaten path type stuff because if you go to the strip and you're a visitor, you're thinking of uh depending on your age range, you're thinking about >> uh entertainment shows. You're thinking about on strip uh restaurants and stuff, which is like 10 times overpriced. And you can probably find just as good or better food just off the strip for less.

22 um you're thinking about staying at like an MGM property or a particular hotel. And I'm not saying you wouldn't stay on that cuz I would still stay that for like a station as well, but you're just thinking about very typically classic Vegas >> strip stuff. >> Yeah. But there's so much >> amazing. >> So in Summerland too, if you're there with kids, you have kids, and you're looking for somewhere to go to kind of chill a little bit, you go to my buddies Chad and V Spy Spy Ninjas HQ. They it they set up this whole huge complex, dude. It used to be a 24-hour fitness. I remember being there when it was like stripped to the studs. Like all the 24-hour stuff was just about gone. And they were like, "We have this vision for this thing." And I watched it slowly build over time cuz me and Nikki are their homies. And like, dude, this thing is insane. >> It's insane. >> You You've been there? >> Yeah. Multiple times. >> Yeah. Exactly. You can zipline from the

12 top of the whole thing. >> Rock climb. >> Rock climb. Arcades everywhere. Everything. And then upstairs there's a retro bar for the parents. >> So why I think that's actually a super dope suggestion, shout out spy ninjas, is because >> any family who has kids, we would always just get dropped off at either Circus Circus or Excalibur Arcade >> and then you go to like a Spy Ninja and you're like the s███'s on that. >> You could do anything there. You could throw an axe. They even have a break room like you know like you ████ take a baseball bat to a watermelon. Like ████ anything you want to do in there. I should start a casino next door >> legit. And they have the they have the games in the bar for the boys. >> They do. >> And and girl, there's a girl out there who likes that. And they're they have like all the retro games are up to the left of the bar. So like you should immediately just But it's in the same area.

02 >> But they got like zipline, they got rock climbing, they got VR, they got the break room. Yeah. >> They have they have the escape rooms, too. >> Yeah, dude. They have everything. got the the trampoline action that people all the kids like. They got all that stuff. Everything, >> dude. We did a cold open for it, right? Where Chad and V just took us through it and like they made us cuz they're such children at heart. I love them. But they like made me and Nikki. We're like I think I was 37, she's 36 and we had to go through like the whole jungle gym and like the whole But we're up in the tubes. We're falling through the nets and Nikki's my legs are going through the nets. Nikki's legs are going through the nets. We're like, "Why are we doing this?" Like, "Isn't this great?" And I'm like, "Yeah, for a kid, dude, >> we go to like the cool ████ now." But like for the kids, it's insane. >> I will say one of my favorite visual experiences seeing Steve do a zipline. >> Yeah. >> It's really Exactly.

53 >> It's really funny. You there with them? >> Yeah. >> Yeah. And by the way, I was scared s███████. I'm not kidding. >> It's really funny. >> I didn't realize I have a thing about heights until like I was up there and I was like, "S███." >> Okay, you're suspended. >> Well, cuz I think it's cuz I'm I'm really happy in my marriage and I don't want to die. Oh, I see. >> So, I was like, I could die. >> It's fair. Yeah. >> Okay. This is my favorite cow tongue place in the whole world. >> I had to look it up because I don't know how to pronounce it. >> Yo, you better text me this. >> But it's called Deho. You guys got to order from here. Even cuz you know, usually Postmates when the food comes, it's not as good as at the restaurant. This place is so good that even when it comes in Postmates, it's ████ good. It's called Deho Kaim. >> Kabim. >> Kobi Jim. And then their cow tong is which is their beef rib soup is my favorite. >> $3 signs. Damn. You better have eight houses for this.

43 >> That I never that I've ever ate. It's my favorite. >> Your best ever. >> My favorite cow pit like I've ever had. Yeah. Really good. >> What's the price point? >> I don't know. $3 is gangster. >> If you're in um if you're in Vegas, it's in the same parking lot as the new HMart. >> Oh, okay. >> It's lit. >> Yeah. So, if you go to HMart, >> where is that? >> HMart. I think it's off at Decada or something. Okay. Okay. >> But Dehjo is bomb. >> Also, random shout out. Random shout out because we were talking about Spy Ninja HQ. Right across the street is Hybrid Jiu-Jitsu. >> Oh, hybrid jiu-jitsu. >> Oh, lit. >> Go there and beat my ass. >> I really like the Chongdam food hall. >> I just went there yesterday. >> Smile is so bomb. >> I just had that Yes. last night. It was so good. >> We got it last night. Smile is all you can eat sushi. >> Yeah. For 34 bucks. >> And it's worth it. Super worth it. But

33 they have like not just sushi though. They got like cooked ████ caught chicken kind of a appetizer. >> And you don't really love raw fish like that. And she loves this spot. Yeah, it's bomb. >> Chongdam food is good cuz it's basically just a big food court. Bunch of different food. And then all you can eat sushi's in there. There's broken coffee which is really really good. >> Uh I I love the curry place. >> And this s███'s right off of the strip. It's like ████ 7 minutes from the strip. >> Spring Valley. Yeah. >> Yeah. It's really really close. Yeah. >> Normally take our Thai food place that we like. >> It's good. >> The secret kitchen. But then the secret kitchen specifically is the one that's bomb. >> Yeah. Secret. Or if you want to try Lotus of Cyan place is insane. >> It is. But it's also really pricey. So you got to be down. But it's super. But if you want to try the best Thai food you ever tried in your whole life.

23 >> It's pretty up there. Honestly, it really is. And get the Tom Ka soup while you're there. Dude, heard >> I heard Sent of Japan is terrible. >> Shut the ████ up, ████ So that's actually that's actually like the most extreme hookup you could have. If you want to look like an absolute ████ pimp, you take them to Sen of Japan because it's the same chefs who did Nou. >> They did set up Sen of Japan and like it's fire. They have A5 Wagu and like all the bomb cuts that you all expect. And I took I took Aunt Ma there and Aunt Ma was all going to be like bunch of stuff. Oh, white guy going to recommend me a spot and all this ████ But guess what? Aunt Ma's like, "This is delicious." Cuz Aunt Ma used to be a sushi chef. >> Yeah. Yeah, he was. >> He's a pain in the ass to know. But then he at the end of the night, he's like, "Okay, I get it. This is ████ good." >> That's cool. Yeah. For dates, Gabby.

15 Coffee is really good. >> Oh, Cafe Gabby's cool. Yeah, >> it looks like a library. Like, >> perfect date spot. >> Yo, that's a really dope spot. >> Perfect date spot. >> Can I be gay? >> Yes, you can be gay. Are you starting now or >> I'm coming out >> or or did you start 8 years ago? >> My uh favorite I guess like brunch place if you want to be out if you want to be outside is a Tavi Village. >> There's a a little cafe called Leone Cafe >> and that spot's bomb. >> It's bomb. Yeah. >> So it has like high quality pastries. If you want to get like traditional American breakfast, they they do in like a small size. And they have uh my favorite style of coffee, which is uh the Mexican style. It's called a >> cafe dea. >> Yeah. It's like cinnamon, honey. They put a little bit like cream in there.

05 Super bomb. >> First of all, >> and you eat outside. >> Also, nighttime they sometimes have live musicians. >> Yeah. Yeah. >> At Yeah. And it feels like, you know, that scene in uh in uh Inception where Leonardo DiCaprio was walking the chick building the worlds. So, >> well, once was a chick. >> Once was a chick. So, you were so you were sitting there and it looks kind of like outside Paris cafe before boom all the explosions happened. >> Yeah. And he said he said, "You ever had a dream where you didn't know like how you got there?" You send it up there >> and the air cannons go off. >> Yeah. Leone Cafe feels like that like outside Paris cafe. It's a bully village in general. Those, >> by the way, Tavi Village, go to the Italian spot, Tritoria, some ████ >> That place bomb. That place is good. >> That place is actually probably the best Italian spot I've found so far in Vegas. I'm sure there's better ones, but that's my favorite one so far. And when you're there, get the lobster ravioli. You're ████ welcome.

For all the stupid ████ out there that think base just a desert can't grow ████ there. Go there and go in my face. >> It's a full-on farm. ████ like 30 different species of ████ ████ apples, pears, pumpkins, chairs, layers. >> What's up? So, what I like about it is every year around graduation time, they say, "Welcome uh the class of in this year cuz they all just turned 18." So, you get to see all that young 18, just barely 18-year-old ████ And that's what I really like about it. But, we cut, thank God.
