05 And welcome back to another really really hot topic on the Careful Boys where apparently a very very developing story. There's not a lot of information out yet. >> Just happened. So give us some grace if new ████ comes up by the time this video goes up. >> But we still got to talk about it anyways because we are the most credible news source on the interwebs. Uh federal federal agents uh apparently shoot and have killed another person in Minnesota, officials say. Um there is a video, it's it's it's going to be a little bit far away with some commentary and slightly graphic. We'll just play it real quick cuz cuz it's short, >> man. And they keep pushing people, you know. >> So just descriptively descriptively, you can see maybe like six, seven federal agents. Uh they're wrestling a person to the ground.

55 Oh, he's socking him. He's pistol whipping him. >> Two, three, >> four, five, six. >> DID THEY KILL THAT GUY? ARE you >> How many dude >> agents were on him? Like six or seven. >> Are you kidding me? >> That guy's dead. >> That's a That's a crazy vehicle. >> Wow. That's >> I look messy, dude. >> Did Okay, it's so far away. There's cars blocking, right? But um is there anything like in in text about the man pulled a weapon or something like that or like why they shot? There's uh I need to read a couple new sources so that I'm not like >> reading something convoluted >> because whenever I seen like I watch a lot of these s█████ videos and then it's just I go down the rabbit hole but every single time I see ████ like that it's

45 because a dude will pull something out last minute and then they get they get shot or whatever. But if it's a if it's unarmed I would wonder why like at what point would that need to happen? Oh, I maybe he reached for a gun and he grabbed one of the agents guns. You know, like >> I I'll say this. The visual of six guys who are ICE agents standing over a dude who's like this and they're all like beating on him and then he gets shot right after is a pretty crazy visual. >> That is crazy. >> Six shots, right? And then already the narrative of I not even the narrative, but the videos that we see of ICE agents, they're not deescalating, they're escalating the situation a lot of the times, right? There's very few videos where I see ICE agent go, "Oh, that was actually nice how they handle that." Very few times I'm seeing that.

36 And then on top of how this is all played out, they're kind of being branded as, "Well, from what we've seen, they're being a bunch of thugs." Kind of that's kind of thug-like behavior. >> That didn't really look tactically sound. I mean, I'm not I'm not saying that it always has to be, but the fact that it looks like it like if they weren't in those in that gear and uniforms, it kind of looked like a a gang beating somebody up and then the shots rang out and they'll run, that kind of look weird. >> I'll say this, if there were six of us and we had to hold down Herano, I think we do a ████ good job, I think. >> Yeah, because you do all the work. [laughter] >> I think we do. If >> there was six of us holding you down, though. >> Oo, >> that guy was a jiu-jitsu expert. >> That's possible. Yeah. So I think one of the stories I saw was saying that he had he had a concealed carry. Is that something that >> So this is a DHS Department of Homeland Security says officers attempted to disarm an individual who approached US Border Patrol officers with a 9mm

27 semi-automatic handgun. This is the image that was provided. >> Okay, so he did have a gun. >> Oh damn, he got a red dot, too. Wait, >> a little slanted, huh? >> Is that a S? Yeah, >> they continued. Uh, fearing for his life and the lives and safety of fellow officers, an agent fired defensive shots, medics on [snorts] scene immediately delivered medical aid to the subject was pronounced dead at the scene. DHS adds the suspect had two magazines and no ID. This looks like a situation where an individual wanted to do maximum damage and massacre law enforcement. >> Governor Tim Waltz uh said, "I just spoke with White House after another horrific shooting by federal agents this morning. Minnesota has had it. This is sickening. The president must end this operation. and pull the thousands of violent untrained officers out of Minnesota. Now, >> that's the problem. Untrained officers. >> Minnesota's that's they're already under fire. >> There was there was a there was a press conference with the cops of Minnesota

18 and they're coming out saying our our guys that are off duty are getting pulled by ICE. >> Wow. They're getting harassed by ICE. >> So, and the cops, all he's saying is like, look, I'm we're here to support you guys to get rid of criminals, right? Illegal immigrant criminals, but there has to be a better way. We can't move forward the way you guys are doing things. This is the police to like they're have they have to do a public statement saying you guys are being too crazy. This is too much. But how much of this is like politics? So um ice aside, right? Do you guys remember when um the Texas governor that he called upon the Texas uh National Guard to actually have a standoff with the federal government? There was like a they were the border patrol or something. There was the border it was a different it was a federal unit and they

09 were supposed to be at the at the at the I guess the river or whatever and they were letting a lot of immigrants in and then so they're like nah we got it from here and then they had a standoff and I was like that's some crazy like state versus federal government ████ So, I I don't know. For me, I'm like, if I think about playing chess, right, like and and and then and then take out the uh the whole like um ice and morality out of it, but like if Tim Waltz and and and Trump is having a feud right now, and Trump is like, "Oh, that's how you want it to be during the election. I'm going to ████ your state up and make you look like you can't handle anything." So, they're going to support the Somali conspiracy. They're going to support all this stuff. get all the nation to look at Tim Waltz and be like, "Man, he can't handle his his state." >> What's the result? The end result they're trying to get >> uh knock out his opponents.

00 >> So, the state will flip politically or or flip powerwise. >> Well, I think one it could be revenge from during his campaign, you gave me trouble. But the other one is like uh people that almost touched election like let's say Tim Waltz was almost a vice president, right? And then so it's like he knocks out all of the uh >> Is it just to like to make him in so he's ineligible for life now basically? >> Yeah. Yeah. Cuz cuz then it's like if he tries next term, right? Then it's like dude, you handled your state so bad. >> But I feel like to his side, like to Tim Walt's supporters, I I still don't think he's done any wrong. I think he looks like, oh, he tried and they blocked him. You know what I mean? like it doesn't really I I don't feel like it changed the minds of >> I think that's what's so tough about these situations cuz you um everyone has

52 different assumptions and people's assumptions base their judgment. So, you know, like I I I try to follow both sides and what it seems like the Tim Walt supporters, it seems like of course Trump is going to send those ICE people in and ████ his ████ up. They're being racist. They're racially targeting Somalians. None of that stuff is actually going on. Have you seen the daycare center with kids? Like, you know, they'll they'll do that. And then so it almost seems like Tim Waltz is being victimized on that side, but that's them assuming because everything's based off assumptions. Tim Waltz is competent. Somalians aren't doing fraud or whatever, you know. And with stuff like this, the tough part is >> first the people that are are butdding heads. Do you assume that federal agents are trying to do a good job or a bad job? Because if you assume they are like SS troops, like uh Hitler's SS troops,

42 then you're it's it's going to reaffirm that, oh yeah, of course, look, they're doing that ████ again. They're just grabbing random people, beating the people up. Or do you assume they're federal agents trying to uphold a mission or a standard? That's one. The other one is the person that is uh being arrested. Are they a stand-up citizen or are they there to protest and cause trouble on purpose? >> The other one is this the whole CCW thing. Are you assuming he has the gun or are you assuming he really was going to use it? And I think that's all the like really muddy scary parts cuz >> who I don't know what the CCW laws in Minnesota are. He could have been completely legally carried. >> Could have been compliant. Yeah. And he could have been and it's in chaos, right? What if he was like, "Officer, I do have a CCW." Cuz once you get your CCW, anytime you're in a a scene with a

33 police officer, you're supposed to let them know cuz it's really bad news. If they handcuff you, then they go, "What the ████ is this?" So you're So it's supposed to go, "Oh, I have a CCW or I have a pistol on me." But in the chaos of things, he might have been like, "I'm just going to pull it out to show you." And then boom, boom. So you have to >> But he didn't have identification, right? >> Yeah. He didn't have ID. So, it's so hard because you have to assume so much before you make the judgment or decision on what it is and who knows what the assumptions actually are, you know, like if what's one right or wrong? >> But if we boil it down, like I take the stance, if if we boil it down to like let's just say ICE came in and they wanted to ask this dude questions or whatever, right? Let's say he he did they say that he pulled his gun out earlier or something like that. They just said that he had gone up to a border patrol officer and he was armed and so that that border patrol officer felt that he was threatened.

23 >> Maybe it was open carry. >> He he went up to him. >> Yeah. It says the he approached. >> Okay. Well, I think um for me I believe in like individual sovereignty, right? And then if and I do believe in the the freedom to carry. So I actually think no federal agent has the right to take it out of you you without reasonable threat. So like if we right now the law in in most states are like you do have to um you you have to you have to claim that you have a weapon, right? But I but I also think that >> you do have to have a permit in Minneapolis or Minnesota. Well, Arizona is what's called a uh what is No, no, it's called a uh like constitutional carry, which means once you own one, it's your right to have it on you. Yeah.

14 [laughter] >> Because for me, I'm like, what's the point? What's the point of uh gun ownership if federal agents can just walk up to you and just take it away from you without any reason? So then I go, okay, if this is one of those cases where after the fact they're like, "Oh, he had a gun on him, but then the approach was wrong, like the the the the unlawful search and seizure was wrong, all those things, then at the end of the day, I think they violated because it doesn't give you the power over a sovereign citizen." I think the sad part that everyone could agree on is like no one should die in these situations because it's not like some guy killing a ████ and then like he's clearly the bad guy like let's kill them. It all of these situations we've been seeing it looks like even the Renee good one they all look like avoidable situations

06 >> 100%. >> So it's like why the ████ is this happening? >> Why is this happening? >> Yeah, >> I agree. I think it's >> like it does boil down to training, right? 1,000% 1,000%. >> If you don't have an ID on you, you can't prove that you have a permit to carry a gun, right? Cuz it has to match your ID. Yeah, >> those two things you have to carry together. >> You can't even if you don't have ID, it's hard to prove that you you're a UF citizen against the people that are trying to like catch illegals. That's like a very conf conflicting. >> But also, you don't have to show your ID. That's that's a that's that's the technicality that I think people are not really looking. It's like how do you obtain the information, right? And then if if anyone can just go up to you and like let's say you're you're an offduty cop and they're like, "Nah, we're grabbing you." Like that's freaking crazy. >> But if you have a v a visible firearm

57 and they're like, "We need to see if you have a permit to carry that." Don't you have to show your ID? >> A visible fire. I mean, if it's a open carry state, >> this is not an open I don't know what that deal. What about like if you're sitting sure at like a coffee, you know, bar with a police officer? That's one thing, but what about like this is a quote unquote an operation that's being done via federal agents. If you're like going up to them is, you know, and >> I think federally, if you're in public areas, they can demand to see everyone's ID because that's what their job is is to make sure they're supposed to be here. >> That's what I'm saying. like is it really the same as like you know uh your state laws and and your carry gun laws and stuff like that and then you just happen to be walking and a cop was just like hey I need to see that and you're like well you know these >> so cop is different from federal agents. Yeah, but when I read about uh how ICE

49 has to conduct themselves cuz people were saying like remember the Renee Good situation, they're like um they they don't have the right. They're not even cops or whatever. And then I'm like they can't even pull people over, right? So that's that's what they're saying cuz uh they're like she didn't pull over, whatever, whatever. And then I read up what how they ha what protocol they have to follow if they're in uh a different state is they are subject to the state law. So even if you're a federal agent, but they can technically pull people over like a regular police officer, but they still have to do the same process of like um what do you call it? Like you can't do unlawful search and seizure. You can't you have to have actual like reason. You have to say like, "Yeah, you are being detained for this investigation or whatever." Whatever. You can't just be like, "Show me your

40 ID." Oh, you're not going to show me your ID? You're going to jail. >> It says Minnesota is it allows open carry, but it's not permitless open carry. >> Yeah. You have to have a permit to legally carry a handgun in public. The permit doesn't require the weapon to be concealed, and it also serves as a permit to purchase firearm, meaning holders don't need a separate purchase. So, if he was walking around with a gun, I think that um yeah, if a cop goes, "Hey, do you have a permit for that?" And then you have to show you have to show the permit. You can't just be like, "No, you don't need to see it." You know, like that that that that makes it Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. >> In Texas, you probably can. What's tough is like I think everyone wants the situation to deescalate but I really don't know how cuz you know now there's you see like um like a civilians they're like they're standing in front of their house with like a AR like watch these

31 ICE agents come over here watch what happens and you're like ████ that's not that's >> only getting worse this is making everything worse. >> Yeah. or guys showing up to protest with weapons now or like you know I don't know if you guys saw but like Black Panthers are trying to like mobilize again >> and they had like a airsoft rifle >> it's getting it's boiling versus like turning the temperature down like how do we turn the temperature down >> but you know the best way ████ put some kind of a a law against the media stoking the goddamn fire >> that's it like that's really what's doing it >> they always ████ it up worse >> they're ████ it up so bad >> and even with like that that uh video we just saw. Let's say at the end of the day we find out that dude was in the complete wrong. Still having six guys jump a dude just does not deescalate it either. >> No,

21 >> I think they have to pause the operation and take a step back and then come back with like a this is how we're going to do it differently. >> Yeah. >> So that you can still do what they're supposed to do but obviously have it be more professional. >> Yeah. Yeah. You know what? You're right. cuz you know right now it's like this. Right now it's like this. It's like one group it's going we're doing our ████ jobs and the other one's like no you're terrorizing us and instead of going we recognize what you're saying or like saying I hear you. They're just like no we're doing our ████ job and no you're ████ ter and it's just getting crazier versus I hear you guys. That was not our intention. Let's take a step back and then we'll redo it. I think that that would >> because it starts with the leadership and if the governor is taking a stance of get the ████ out of here and then the federal agents are like but we have a job to do and then they're not respected either. There's no cooperation from the

12 government. Is that always the case though? >> I don't know. This seems intense. >> Yeah, this is bad. >> Every time that the the government steps in and puts federal agents in a state, the state always seems opposed to it. They always seem like >> and it's so politically charged. >> It makes them look bad. >> Yeah. It makes them look like they dropped the ball. Oh, now we got to fix it. >> Or like, you know, when under >> like the detective movies when the feds come, you're like, "Ah, ████ the >> Yeah. Or like under like under Obama and Biden, how they have way more deportations and then the left-leaning states are so much more cooperative when ICE does come. It's it is so politically charged >> depending on who's the one saying." Yeah. >> So, it's like the the the chief of ICE, I forgot what that guy's name is, he won a crazy ass award under Obama. He's the same guy that's the director of ICE now. So, I don't think their tactics have actually changed, but it's Yeah, but I think it's just the way the media is

02 zooming into things and making things explode. >> Because when I used to work at a restaurant in 200, this was in Pasadena, there were ice raids. There were bands that came through and then uh it would be right in the middle of Pasadena, Colorado where all the restaurants are >> and they skipped right over you. >> They go Yeah. No, they go straight into the restaurants, grab people up. >> They usually they are not grabbing random people off the street. >> They're they're grabbing people up and they get loaded into the buses and that's it. So I was like that's the first thing I was thinking is like why are people acting like this is a random Gustapo thing? Cuz I'm like I remember seeing this ████ like decades ago. >> That's why it's I go back to based off the assumption are they good or bad

52 guys? So if you think they're good guys, like yeah, get ████ Carlos out of here. But then now if we're we view them as bad guys, it's like what the ████ They're just grabbing up, you know? So it's like you it's it's so tough to have a conversation cuz everyone is coming at it with biases already. >> Is that because we grew up in LA and like it's always been like that cuz you know like the no ice over the freeway. I've never not seen that there any year of my life. It says no ice right over the freaking five freeway. Cuz when you think of immigrants and like ice, you don't think Minnesota. You think snow and ice in Minnesota, you know, like you don't think like >> chill drink beverages. [laughter] >> Like when I think of Yeah. Maybe it's just that like they're not used to that ████ >> Yeah. Maybe because they didn't cover it to that magnitude back, you know, during the other terms. >> Maybe now it's like people are just

42 finally seeing. >> Yeah. But I think Bart's right about like the spotlight of like really cuz like the whole um kids in the cages thing, right, during that like that happened during >> Obama and and it's it's for protection of the kids because like they don't know if it's a fake family and they're smuggling ████ or or whatever. So they need to separate and then they need to question and figure out the safety. But then like under Obama, no one's putting a spotlight on that. But during Trump, they put a spotlight say look at what Trump's racist regime is doing. >> I think also the they are trying to spotlight the fact that at this rate Trump could probably pass Obama's previous record of >> deportations. They're looking at the rate. It's like, yeah, it's not it's not more yet, but like it's going to be, you know, [laughter] >> and then you're you know what I I heard for Obama's numbers, you know how it's

33 big, but they're saying that they were counting the people that were turned away at the border, >> whereas Trump is not counting those, >> getting people that have been here already or on pending status. >> The pending status is a messy part because there could be people that got in on the pending using the app that at the border and so they're just living here legally, but they're just still pending and then they're just getting deported. >> I do think though with the training there's something needs to be there too cuz uh I see I actually see videos of ICE being good guys too. it those get usually buried. But then I also see like just random personal conversations that pop up. And in my opinion, I don't know if this is right or wrong, but like I feel like local police should be like this. Then you go like up one, you got federal there, they should be like superheroes. And then you know, it's kind of like what you see in the movies, right? If you can have a guy come and

24 just flash a badge and then all the local cops got to ████ go, "Oh, I guess this is his jurisdiction now." I think like they're supposed to be better handlers than local cops and they don't look like better handlers than defin but but then you know you can't help but to hear these ████ stories about like the one video of the ICE agent Brit he has a a detainee takes her in the ████ portaotti sexually assaults her and then you know it's like you get all these stories you hearing all you just hear way more of this stuff >> at a higher precedent than the Obama right even in the camps guys are saying there was a guy who uh was lynched or something and they try to be like, "Oh, he committed he committed suicide though." Like he wanted to go. He was planning it. Like look, check it out. You know, so you hear all these ████ stories and you can't help but to see like kids getting pepper-sprayed by ice.

15 You hear about the kid that was in the the he was they were like on their way to school. They were on the way to a basketball game, six-month-old in the back seat. Tear gas goes in. The baby starts convulsing, has seizures. So, it's like the way they're going about, they're hurting innocent people that are just bystanders. And it's like as a federal agent, bro, you can't be doing this, bro. Like, >> who's who's supposed to check? Like, you know how the reason ICE is there is because the local government has failed in some way to secure a specific thing. So, they're like, "Okay, you didn't do it right. We're going to bring these guys and really not do it right." Like, who's checking them? You know what I mean? >> Or just more specifically the deportation element, right? Cuz maybe local police aren't like >> being charged with it'll do it specifically. >> I I think it's like uh when everyday people get caught up in a political

05 goal. So like Trump's whole goal was kick out the immigrants. He's reacting to Biden's camp of letting millions in, right? So now we have all of a sudden cuz I think during Obama's time, maybe it was a reasonable recruitment process that filtered people out and then they had like a more control on the flow. So they're like, "Okay, there's enough personnel. We could we have enough time to train them and then we can deport them, right?" And then I'm just assuming that that's why it wasn't as crazy. And then now in Trump's camp, because there's millions of immigrants that they have to get out, they they're rushing to get tens of thousands of agents to react to the millions of immigrants. >> Didn't vet well enough and they recruited too quick. >> The same thing happened with the IRS agents during um Biden's camp. I think he hired like 40,000 agents and they

57 were ████ up all the taxes. >> The agent that handled JK's ████ like that was just a random like >> that was the ED. Yeah. >> Yeah. It's like they they just hire everybody quick. >> To that point though, I agree with what Bonis was saying as well though. You know, it's like if you go in, you have an operation, you do a job. if things are escalating in a way that's like completely past like this is a moment of like for the nation to everyone's paying attention and scrutinizing this one place that multiple incidents are happening. It's like if the if the federal law enforcement agents supposedly like the bigger man in this situation. They're the ones that kind of need to step back, reassess the entire thing so that everything can kind of chill out and then if they need to continue to go back in there with a better just tactic in general there. There's no way adding more fuel to this. There's no way the media is going to step down. There's no way, you know,

48 Trump's going to be like, "Governor Tim Waltz, you were right. Let's >> So, so, you know, you got to just pull the operation back. You got to slow it down, take a breather, reassess, and then maybe figure out how to go back in." But >> you think they'll do that? That's I think that's the only actual reasonable thing. >> I think they're going to push even harder and they're going to go harder on the people. >> You're going to see the citizens push harder. You're going to see more people. >> I think that's what's going to happen. Unfortunately, that's is what I cuz like it I don't think Trump's that reasonable of a guy. It seems like >> I don't understand though like what why there's a push back that seems so illogical like how Newsome made it um he disallowed it was it was uh Aram Cho who told us that like when they arrest a guy right for a crime like say he uh sexually assaulted a min or something they when they're filing him in the system and they find out he's illegal Newsome disallowed them to report to ICE

40 that this guy's illegal. >> Why would What's the motivation behind that? What's the logic? California, baby. >> Why? Like, what the ████ >> That sounds ridiculous. That sounds >> Why is that? Like, he's like, "No, we don't want to know if they're illegal." >> Part of that is probably part of that reason is probably why we're in this problem right now, right? >> Cuz then they're like, "We're just going to have to send ICE and figure it out ourselves." >> That's pro that that I guarantee that's probably a reason why ICE is going crazy. >> Yeah. We need to do our investigation though. >> I think it boils down to the statistics and reelection. So, like if you don't report that they're illegal, then you don't have to write down and add that under Nuome's >> governor like ship there's been 80,000 illegals. Maybe you drop it down to 40,000. >> Wow. So, like >> So, your stats look better as a leader. >> Yeah. It's kind of like how they reduced crime. >> So, we we saw so much crime in in

32 California, but if you look at the stats, the crime is super low. >> So, then they'll look they'll look good for reelection. then they'll look good for presidency cuz it's it's like oh it was I had low crime but we know that's not the truth. So I think everything that's what sucks in this whole whole theater. I think everything is for that and those games being played and we're being used for it. >> Absolutely. I think that too. >> But anyways I hope this ████ ████ calms down. >> It's a bummer, bro. >> It ████ sucks. every time you turn on the ████ news is ICE terrorizing Americans or whatever and you're just like, "Bro, this is not how I want to start my day." And I feel like everyone is consuming all this content all the time and everyone's just a little bit more depressed, dude. Like, this is not how you want to see your country, right? You want to see these guys coming around whether Yeah, bro. This is this is not

22 okay. >> And also, what like so like if if a governor says, "All right, we're not going to if we arrest a guy for committing a crime, we're not allowed to say that he's illegal. He's not going to stay in jail. He's going to get out again." And then ICE has to go get the guy at his house and it's way messier. >> And then the media shows that part and they're all pulling Jorge out of his house. Then it looks all crazy. >> And then they have to be like they have to tell the people that are blocking them, hey, this guy's a sex offender. You're defending a sex offender that assaulted a child. >> Honestly, they need And then we find out Jorge is undercover cop. I've been working A STING OPERATION. HE has Exactly. Exactly. >> So dirty. Like so messy. >> I know. Every situation is not going to be that. But then it's just like >> I saw that video too and I was like that was one of the first times I was like, "Okay, I agree with this ICE agent." You know what I mean? >> That was one of the But most of the time, you don't really see those videos. It's it's all skewed the other way. >> But you wouldn't even get to that situation if when he got arrested for the infraction in the first place, he was just in jail. Then they were like, "Hey, you're illegal."

13 >> You know, that's it. >> Did you guys see that? They just um they just deported this guy who was out on bond. He was part of a uh one of the six robbers that did the biggest jewelry heist here. >> Wow. >> And they they deported him. He was out on bond. Oh, yeah. >> So, he's basically free. >> It It was a mistake. >> It wasn't in Mexico. >> Yeah. It was like an accident, right? >> It was I mean, they >> It's crazy that he was about to go on trial and they let him go. >> That's crazy. >> Yeah, >> that's that's a huge miscommunication, right? Like, >> how is that not on the record? How do you not know when you're researching or whatever? How do you not know? And then they're saying and then there's reports of the ICE agents having a hard time writing and reading the reports, >> right? And then there also there's
