00 Ever since I got my house, every day I get a new ████ scam thing to pay something every day. >> I just pay them all. [laughter] >> Well, you got money for that >> baller. >> You You could afford to be scammed. >> And welcome back to another episode of the Careful Boys where there is a situation happening in St. Louis right now where apparently some monkeys are on the loose. So there is a there is a monkey search. Uh >> what kind of monkeys? >> Breaking news. Find the monkey. A >> lot of different monkeys. Hower monkeys, spider monkeys. >> Some of them are vocal. >> Yeah. See, some of them are vocal and some of them aren't. >> It's getting really tough to understand because number one, owning monkeys is illegal in St. Louis. But number two, um

50 people are kind of taking this thing and running with it. Uh and they're doing AI hoaxes. >> Oh, great. That's funny. >> Now making it very difficult for local search. >> That's ████ up. >> Yeah, that's funny cuz they don't know what's real and they don't even know if there's monkeys actually on the loose anymore >> cuz they're like, "Oh, we found a monkey at the at Sonics." But it's a ████ AI. >> Yeah, >> he's ordering at the He's on roller skates. [laughter] >> They are saying that some of them are clearly AI like monkeys on roller skates and stuff, but then there's also some that like are you really don't know. See, those are nowadays. I think that's the fun thing about social media is trying to figure out if this is AI or what's real. >> Those poor boomer eyes that have to discern. [laughter] >> My mom is getting My mom's getting smoked on AI, dude. >> All moms, all dads.

40 >> That's my mom. >> They're just getting fed mis. >> What's the number one thing that your parents are like tracking? mom follows like the fake AI doctors of like uh here lemon balm will help you lose three times more weight than uh ompic [laughter] and it's like claims like that and she's and then she's like they usually do like a call to action at the end like DM Lemon Bomb for your recipes and my mom is commenting for the recipes [laughter] like ma you can't be doing this >> that's better than the one my mom sends me she sends me ████ Chinese monk walking on water and she'll be like look how good his kung Come on. But that's your mom's dream, though. That's the thing about AI is like all of our parents' dreams. >> It's giving them what they want. You're >> being sold to them through social. They're like, I knew it. >> And it's making them right about ████ they've always said. So, it's really tough. >> If you focused at Shaolin Camp, you could have been doing the same thing,

30 Bart. That's what you're >> The one at Bueno Park. The one at Bueno Park that helped me walk on water. >> Yeah. Yeah. [laughter] If you tried hard enough. Okay. You didn't believe enough. >> There's a sore voice, though. Like, you could tell immediately it's kind of distorted and you're >> too fast. >> Yeah. Yeah. Or there's always like a bowl of fruit in the kitchen. That's what That's always weird, dude. >> Bowl of fruit in the kitchen. >> It's like weird. It feels like the Matrix for real. >> I mean, everything is just getting so much better though. Like things things are even slightly passable nowadays than they were before. Before it was like so clear that this was generated. Now it's like, is this AI? >> Yeah, that's true. >> I just assume everything is AI now. >> That's where I'm at. >> That's smart. But that's probably also because you got scammed so many times so quickly. >> No, not me, dude. you're going to get ████ scammed. >> That's how we all learn our lessons though, right? Once like somehow we got we believe something, then your homie is like, "You ████ idiot. That's AI."

20 Then after that, you're like, >> "Man, is this AI?" >> I don't want someone to call me idiot again. >> Yeah. [laughter] Yeah. >> Like you got to get burned. Do you guys remember when you were first burned? Cuz for me it was um there were people traveling like on a safari adventure and and then elephants came and then they were like in canoes and then the elephants trampled the canoes and then I was like, "Dan, it's crazy." And I was like, "Oh, wait. Damn, I got bamboozled." It looks so real. It looks so real. >> Mine was in I think fourth grade. >> But it's not AI. >> No, you're talking about getting scammed. >> No, I'm talking about AI bamboozled. >> Just get scammed. [laughter] >> You got scammed in fourth grade. >> I think that was the first time I got really scammed and I was like, I don't trust nobody. >> By what? What did you get scammed by? >> Um, Pokémon. You know, like back in those days, people had like cool pencil sets like Karpi. >> Yeah. >> San Rio stuff. >> San Rio stuff. So, I had some pencil or

11 whatever that I really liked and then this dude that I thought was my friend was like, "Yo, that's really cool. Can I borrow it?" I'm like, "Yeah." And he borrowed it. And then the next day I'm like, "Oh, do you have it?" And he goes, "No, I lost it." And I could tell that's ████ just stole it. And I was like, >> "That's the oldest truck in the book." >> He just I think he just wanted to keep it. >> I had that done, too. >> That's when I realized can't trust nobody, dude. [laughter] >> Fourth grade. >> But also like people the filters are updating really good, too. So they just look perfect and beautiful, but it's like and also there's the AI influencers now too where like a lot of girls that are only fans or something, but they're just all AI >> and they're not just photos anymore. They're like talking videos. >> Yeah, there's there's a lot of V streamers or like uh virtual streamers that just use other people or anime.

02 >> Mhm. >> Wow. That's crazy. That's pretty cool though. >> Which is like Ready Player One though, right? as long as you're doing like like fun stuff versus like I don't know. >> Yeah. Well, they're not trying to scam anybody, but it just sucks for like people that fall for like stupid ████ [laughter] Really sucks for anyone 10 years older than us. Like their eyes just aren't used to it. >> Not used to it. Yeah. >> But they'll watch a ████ plane crash in GTA and they'll be like, "Oh my god, please help those poor people." [laughter] >> Yeah. >> ████ sad, man. >> Cuz it's like remember when they first did uh movies that are people in room like a theater full of people, right? And then they filmed like a railroad coming and then the when the train actually went through this or like when >> I was in like the pre pre uh sound area. >> Yeah. Yeah. Everyone's like, "Oh my god." It's [laughter] like that's their eyes now. They're like, "Oh, what the that's crazy." >> And you can't like It's hard. You can't really fault him for it because they spent so much time avoiding content

53 thinking they were doing something good. Like I'm going to touch grass. I'm going to be outside. I'm going to do stuff. And then once those videos hit them, they can't tell the difference now >> because they did such a good job being offline. It's kind of like >> backfiring in a way. >> Dang. So that sounds like a conundrum with like raising kids with or without a screen. >> It is a conundrum because you're susceptible to more electronic fraud. That's why old people get ████ caught by the whole like, "Mom, I've been kidnapped." >> Yep. >> It's like >> young people do get caught. >> Even regular mail, like regular mail now, they're so good. It look It looks like it's from a official document. >> Yeah. It looks like from a collections company, whatever. And you're like, "Oh my god, there's this bill I haven't paid." >> Yeah. Cuz they just want you to open it. >> Yeah. But it's fake. >> Yeah. >> Yep. But that's why it's cool. You can also just take a photo of it. Ask JBT if it's legit. >> Yeah. Yeah. >> There's been so many ever since I got my house. Every day I get a new ████

43 scam thing to pay something. >> Every day. >> I just pay them all. [laughter] >> Well, you got money for that >> baller. >> You You could afford to be scammed. [laughter] >> But it does suck. It's like when you think of like your own parents falling for ████ it's pretty like >> I got to check up on my mom. See what she's been up to. Yeah. Check for your parents alos. You got >> I'm so lucky. Both my parents are like huge ████ skeptics about everything. >> That's good. >> Everything. >> Maybe they've been bamboozled way too many times. >> Yeah. They just they taught me to be the same way even as a kid, too. They're just like nothing's the way that you think it is. Like everything's always a scam. >> When do they know the difference of AI, though? When they see a picture and they go, "You're not fooling me." >> I don't even think they register whe they don't even care what what's real or not. They're just not even like they're just like, "So what?" I think I'm the reason why my parents are skeptical about everything because I submitted

33 them to a scam because when we went through the Born Park Mall as a kid, I was like, "Dude, I think if I enter my name in this thing, [laughter] >> that's so ████ funny, dude." >> That's right. And then we got a phone call and I picked up and I was like, "Oh my god." And I convinced them and then they went to like a basically a time share meeting for like eight hours and then they like walked out with like a time share for the next like few years. That >> Wait, so why' they buy one though, >> dude? cuz you just get sold and pressed. >> They're good, bro. The whole presentation, >> dude. It's that good. >> They're so good at just like just come, just come. Like their whole thing is like getting you to go to the meeting. >> At the end, we'll announce who won this new CRV. >> Yeah. It's an offer you can't refuse. learned that like my parents are pretty ████ they they'll go to the point of being disrespectful over ████ where like cuz at one point a ton of families in our churches were getting into this

23 ganoderma thing which was like a mushroom tea that they claimed had like healing properties was very healthy but it was a it was a ████ pyramid scheme where like you you'd get you to sell to other people and then these were some of the closest people in my family and my mom and dad were like that's a scam we're not even touching like they were like rude >> and the other families were like, "Oh man, your your mom and dad like were really mean about this." And like they were the kids of those families were friends of mine. So I felt kind of weird too that my mom and dad were known as like being kind of like party poopers >> and then that ████ ended up ████ imploding with for everybody. They lost all this money. >> Well, they don't drink the Kool-Aid. You think they're sitting there going, "I told you so." >> But I think even if even if like those families got rich off it, my parents would still be like, "F██████ scam." Like [laughter] they don't care whether it's good or bad. They just don't buy into ████ I think it's interesting.

14 >> That's good. I mean, if if I got rich off it, I'd be like, well, >> well, that's what I mean is because like because they're such skeptics, even stuff that ended up being true or ended up being good. >> I don't know about the 401 when >> Exactly. Yeah. They still don't buy into >> seems like a scam. I got to wait till I'm 65. >> Have they looked into something that they thought was a scam or is everything just a scam still? Like how do they differentiate like oh this is normal retirement. >> Hey if you're skeptic about everything you're impressed by anything you know >> they're just so that's why I'm like that. That's why I don't believe in ████ so many things because it's my parents are always like that's nothing like don't worry about that it's nothing. I'm like damn >> that's how my dad was. He'd always tell me like don't believe in that ████ And I go >> but I want to believe that it works >> cuz your dad's not like the type to be like oh but you know it's fun to believe in this right? >> No [laughter] also get believe in weird stuff too.

04 >> Yeah. But that's the thing. That's why I realized as I got older, I was like, "Nobody knows ████ ████ dude." You know what I mean? Like everyone, it's like it's you got to go make your own ████ mistakes, man. Like, you know, like it's for you. Like, it's that's your experience. >> Yeah. My dad even thought ████ renting videos was a scam. >> Why? [laughter] I don't know. He was just like, "It's just buy it." >> He's like, "Just buy it. The value decreases. >> They're scamming you at Hollywood Video. [laughter] >> That's how you get the membership." >> But whatever. But when it is fun whenever you're paying for something that you don't believe is that price, it's fun to be like, "Ah, it's a ████ scam. [laughter] They're ████ scam." It makes you feel better in the moment, I think. But then you do it enough times and you ████ believe it and then you call everything a scam, which is I think what happened to my dad. [laughter] >> You know, like >> everything everything is a scam unless

54 everybody's doing it though. You know, >> it's like calling like diamond rings a scam. >> Yeah. But >> but if like everybody goes into the culture, it's kind of like, well, this is what we do. It's a scam, but I'm part of the scam. >> It's their choice to not take part in it, right? Or if they they're forced to take part in that ████ or like if you your identity is like, oh, I don't believe in like jewelry and all that ████ like it's a scam. You would say something like that, but then when you would have to get a ring for your wife, whatever the ████ you have to partake in it, and then afterwards you're like, "Ah, it's a f███." >> What do you not believe in? What's a scam? Do you >> fitness fitness? [laughter] >> Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah, >> fitness. Hell yeah. >> Macros, >> I think like uh I don't know. >> Taxes. >> Testosterone. >> Taxes. >> ████ paying taxes, dude. >> Low key, taxes are a scam, bro. >> Dude, it's worse than ever. >> Huh? >> He's saying the ones that you don't do. >> Yeah. So, you you choose not to do it.

44 >> Whatever, dog. [laughter] Don't get weird. Come on, dude. Don't get ████ weird. You said red light cameras. What's What's a red light camera? >> I think that's a scam. >> The one that straight up >> the snitch tickets. >> Yeah, snitch tickets. The ones where you like like the they put the camera on the red light to give you a ticket. >> Yep. Oh, yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Cuz that's not ████ real. >> Not like the therapy red light. [laughter] >> No, I was talking about the the the red cameras. I was like, aren't those pretty ████ legit cameras? [laughter] >> You know what? Ari Lexus are scam. >> Toyota scam. Richardson scam.
