Like who's idea was that? >> My friend did it, and then I told my mom about how much it it helped him. And my my mom did her own research, and then like a like a year later she was like,

And then they Yeah, they just I don't know, they connected, they healed a lot of like trauma between them. With the with Was there a shaman going donk donk donk donk? Oh, good ████ So when they came back could you feel like a noticeable difference in like how they like behaved or expressed themselves? >> For like 6 months. I knew it. It wears off, huh? But they did seem more like my dad seemed more patient, and he seemed more just chill. Yeah. Uh less reactive.

And then we went like a year after that, me and my me me and my dad and my brother went uh to the same place. And uh my uh cousin passed away like a year before that, and then uh so I I saw my cousin We were just hanging out. And I felt guilty cuz like uh we we kind of stopped talking, and uh so then I felt guilty, but then in the in the trip it was just us hanging out >> Oh, your cousin visited you in your in the ayahuasca trip? >> Yeah. Oh, cool. And it was just us like, "Oh, I should be grateful for the experiences I had instead of being guilty." Was it a So like I've always been curious, but I hear people's ayahuasca stories and it scares the ████ out of me cuz like you're like throwing up like crazy and ████ Like what is the
11:48 experience like? It's two nights, and for this one they flew a shaman from Brazil. Yeah. And um uh you do this thing called rapé, like they blow tobacco in your nose. But it's spelled r a p e. Okay. Yeah, yeah, r a p e. That s███'s confusing. Okay. And then um it's supposed to ground you, and then um the first night is chill, and it lasts like 8 hours. >> The trip is 8 hours long? Yeah. Do you fast, too? Like you're not supposed to eat anything, or >> I was vegan for like 2 weeks. I I I didn't drink alcohol, I didn't uh smoke weed, you know, drink coffee. What was the hardest thing to give up? Jerking off? Yeah. That was the That ████ is hard. How do I How do I SLEEP LIKE THIS? >> [laughter] >> IT WAS HARD. YOU JUST GRAB YOUR ████ like normally? Is >> [laughter] >> Normally it's like, you know what I mean? My hand comes up. Yeah, yeah, yeah.

It was us like going like driving to the to the like the the gym, singing in the car, just hanging out. And I'm like, "This is nice." What do you think that was about? Just like what you said earlier, like just letting it go? I think just Yeah, just like, "Oh, like you should be grateful for the times that you did have." I think it was what I learned. So I imagine your dad's right next to you, but he's his trip is him banging all these hookers and stuff. >> [laughter] >> I'll be And you're like, "Oh, me and my cousin are having a good time." 14:20 came down, there was a little campfire, and then they were playing music, and me and my dad and my brother just got up and we started dancing, and we were doing like the the train. Everyone was just dancing around. Like at a wedding. Yeah, I I yeah, we getting married. Yeah, it was nice. Was there a moment when your dad shared with you like after the ayahuasca experience like, "I should treat your mom better"? Were you like, "Duh"? >> [laughter] >> Yeah, I was like, "You think so?" Yeah. Is there a period of like um you know how like you guys just went through some crazy ████ together? Is there a period of like like you guys bonded in a like a much deeper way had you not gone? If you guys went together? I I've I've never seen him cry Yeah. before that, and he was crying a lot. And then I was like, "I've never seen him that vulnerable." During or after the trip? Like in the middle, yeah, middle. He was just sitting there
15:10 against the wall just crying, and I was like, "Oh ████ this Because he envisioned your mom passing away or whatever. Yeah. What was the trip or vision that your brother had? He felt um what it was like to be a soul. Is what he said. Like he would go around and he he he he didn't know any of us. He didn't know who I was. Wow. And then he had no like no feelings. And then he was like, "Oh ████ like to be human is to feel." And he's like, "I miss Like I I it's like we're very lucky to be here to feel things. And even though I like there's like a lot of pain, but that comes with love and stuff." That's some crazy ████ Hey, drugs are tight. So I got friends that do that do it like almost every year, and they always tell me like Yeah, they if they they tell they always tell me they what comes to you is what you need. So you sometimes you think, "I got to go and fix this this trauma, like my

But then you go, and it's actually this other part of your life that you're like, "Oh ████ I've been sweeping this under the rug." >> Oh, okay. So every So he goes every year because you're uncovering other ████ which is crazy. And it's crazy that's like a medicine that like or like medicine that heals everybody in the same way, you know? It's not like weed where like some people they do this because to get over this, but this person's just using it to get high with his homies. It's like literally it's the same therapeutic effects across across the world, which is crazy. What's it like having a daddy who wants to hang out with you? >> [laughter] >> That is pretty cool, actually. Yeah. Cuz he's hanging out with you in your way. Right.
