00 All right, this recently just happened. Uh, unfortunately on October 12th, just before 4 pm, a dude named Hassad Jihad Karim, age 42, from Atlanta fell out of a 200 foot roller coaster called the Goliath at Six Flags in Georgia to his death. And this is while he's sitting next to his son and his mom and his daughter are down below watching the ride. 200 ████ feet, dude. >> It supposed to be Goliath or something, right? >> And it was really bad. It wasn't just like fall boom. It was like the way that he came out. He like fell out of it and like hit the cart like three times. >> He was crashing into other people. >> Yeah. Like injured four other people like dropping on >> horrible >> and then eventually fell onto like the roof of like one of like the Haunted Mansion type like attractions and stuff. >> I'm used to Yo on Haunted Mansion. >> Not not not Disneyland's Haunted Mansion

51 >> to another park. [laughter] Shut the >> I'm I'm usually not for like lawsuits and stuff. >> But give give the family like a billion dollars, >> dude. A billion [laughter] a billion dollars. >> Wait, let's let's have let's have let's have a conversation about it just be I'm I'm down to go there. I'm just saying let's let's figure out a little bit of these details though. Um >> 250,000. >> Whoa. It's a big jump. You know how to bargain, bro. >> He does. He's a hard negotiator. >> No matter what, the family deserves some ████ for sure. no matter what. Because like at the end of the day, it comes down to like >> So, how is it their fault, Anthony? >> I'm not saying it's their fault. I'm not saying it's their fault. I'm just saying it still comes down to like safety protocol, right? It still it still comes down to like you um whe with your height for a kid, whether it's your weight as an adult, whether it's checking the lap band yourself or even having the right

41 option. >> You said getting the lap band, >> the the the checking the lap band. >> Oh, get not getting the lap band. >> This is what makes Isn't that a weight loss thing? The lap band. >> That's why I thought he was making a funny joke. That's why I thought he was being insensitive. This is what makes theme parks more and more safer and boring though because when I went to Mexico, they don't be doing lawsuits like that. And then the zip lines there, man, you'd go through rings of fire, crocodile, like crazy ████ >> You're what? >> Yeah. >> You went on a zipline and went through a crocodile. >> No, but like we landed in a we landed in a river that had crocodiles. >> Yeah, >> that's different going through a crocodile's mouth out of his ass versus over a river. And there's this crocodile. >> And then there there's like there's like ATVs that you could go off-roading. Hannah almost crashed into a tree. It was crazy. >> Is that her fault or the tree was

32 >> her fault? She didn't know how to drive. >> She's like, they don't do they don't do tree lawsuits in Mexico. >> Yeah, dude. Hey, there like there's like you know cenotes. >> Mhm. >> There's a river under in a cave that you could swim in with no guardrails, nothing, and you could drown. So I'm like the Mexican ████ is way better, way faster because the American ████ you got to be safe all the time because of ████ like this lawsuits, whatever. >> Was it in Mexico where they did that that uh that bungee jump thing where they took that lady? >> Yeah. >> Oh yeah. It was like it was like in Latin America somewhere. >> She didn't get tied. >> Yeah. >> Yeah. But bungee jumping it's like >> they like threw her off and then when they like noticed it was like a >> No. Well, someone in the background was already wait cuz they already saw it wasn't connected. >> No. No. And then they just kept going and it's been >> freaking incompetent. >> But when you see those old photos,

22 right, >> of theme parks and like all these like horse diving. >> Yeah. That ████ looks crazier than what we have today. And then when you go to a theme park, don't you feel like you want to feel like you're going to die? >> Well, that's why like Disneyland, you technically don't even need the seat belt, but they just put it on anyway. >> At Six Flags LA, it or um >> Magic Mountain. >> Yeah. Magic Mountain, it does feel like you're going to die at the parking lot. >> Yeah. [laughter] But I feel like Six Flags, especially recently, they've been in the news a lot for people like rides malfunctioning, things happening all the time. It seems like they can't get it together >> cuz the dude died from the brain trauma. >> Yeah, people be for sure getting concussions on X2. But like that's the thing though, like >> people blackout on Goliath. >> It's also like a roller coaster that has like warning. You know what I mean? Like even me at my age, I'm like I don't know if I want to do that one because like it's like you wouldn't you wouldn't go

12 on it if you're pregnant, right? Cuz it says don't go on it if you're pregnant. So if you got if you got some other versions >> whack brain if you have a weak brain. >> Yeah. You got a weak neck. >> What's [laughter] X2? >> It was the best ride in Magic Mountain. >> Bro, weak neck causes whiplash. >> That ride was my favorite absolute favorite ride. >> X2 is dope. >> It's like when you go on it, it like it continues to like turn and stuff like that while you're on it. So depending on your momentum, it's it's like whiplash over and over. The saddest part of this this recent one is that um the freaking roller coaster took photos while the dude was flying out of his seat. >> Shut up, dude. That's not real. Is that real? >> Oh my god. >> Well, did people run down to take pictures of it? >> Somebody must have cuz it's out. >> Yeah. And and it's not flattering either. It's like it's like he's like falling out this way. So you see his ass crack and everything and they're just posting this stuff and it's like that's

02 so sad. >> Imagine like that. And he has like a son. Yeah. He's a son on there. >> It's It's tough. That's the most dramatic thing. You're if you're like little kid and you witness your dad pass. >> Well, now there's like photos of him passing like to the world. That's so sad. >> Was he on the ride with his son >> next to each other? >> Sitting next to his son and then his his wife and the the his daughter were like down there watching. >> Yeah, it's that's so so bad, man. >> It's the worst. >> Did you mention like how it ████ up? Um, it it was basically just that lap bar that I guess just >> it just opened >> popped up and then he just >> Oh, so there's no there's no >> it wasn't a over. >> Oh, it's only lap. >> I believe it was just a lap bar. >> Oh, like Monte Zuma. >> Montazuma's revenge where you go. >> Yeah. That's what makes me scared of all that stuff cuz they'll be like, "You're supposed to put your arms up, right?" Cuz it feels crazier. >> But I'm like, "F███ that. What if this thing opens up? I need to hold on to >> You got to bolt yourself down, dude."

53 >> It's a re I feel like it's such a reasonable fear now. I don't know, maybe it always was dangerous, but back in the day, like we used to think, we used to mess with it. You would like not pull your thing all the way down and then when they check it, then you like for real have a hell of space >> just to like scare yourself. I would never do that today. I feel like maintenance that's got like corners that have been cut. You can't play like that. >> Well, now when you're older, you're like, "Okay, if there's like brands like Toyota, then there's a Toyota of roller coasters, and then there's like the Kia of roller coasters." [laughter] So, like I ain't trying to ████ with the Kia of roller coasters. >> And you some might say Six Flags is the key of roller coasters. >> I know. >> Well, like it can't be a good sign that like you know when theme parks are constantly threatening to close because they're not making money. I doubt they're doing more maintenance at that point. You know what I mean? >> Are they doing every 3,000 m? Are

45 [laughter] they doing every 10,000 miles? >> Do you think it was safer during our time because they were coming out with new rides so they were new? I think it's safer however much profit a place is making. >> Oh yeah. Cuz they could pay for the maintenance. >> I think so. I think there there's a maybe not all the time, but there has to be a relative like, oh, if they're making a lot of money, then they're not skimping as hard. Even though cuz they they'll skimp even when they're making money cuz cuz Six of Magic Mountain was like goated when we were kids. Yeah. When they were making money when they were coming out with like Superman the ride and stuff like that. Like that that era was just it felt like it was back toback. The Riddler came out, Batman the Ride came out. >> Yeah. The DC license. There was like a new ride like every freaking month. It was crazy. You saw commercials on it. >> It might work the way that you always talk about other countries when they have disasters. It's a good time to visit >> cuz you know like when when Disney >> they're going to start fixing things

35 right after. >> Like when Disneyland had their uh had their Big Thunder Mountain. >> The turtles are cheaper. >> I bro I think about that all the time. >> Me too. I think about that all the time. >> Every time I ride that ride, I think about getting decapitated. >> You know what? It's probably never going to be any safer. I'm not tall enough >> cuz now they have to watch their ████ >> and they're going to have to give hella promotions cuz people are scared to go. >> Well, I wouldn't put it past Disneyland to watch their ████ but I mean like >> Six Flags. >> Yeah. I don't know, man. >> Yeah. >> That's why you got to trust the brand. Disney like that's not going to happen that much at Disney. >> Well, then the rides at Disney aren't that hardcore. >> Do you think that other countries like cuz you know like there'll be hell of videos from India where they're on those spinning swings and [laughter] they're all just hitting the ████ pole. Do you think countries like that look at this ████ and they're like why is that on the news? Like that's nothing. [laughter] >> Or like their trains, right? You know how they stuff people into their trains? >> It's insane. >> The Indian just train surf.

25 >> Yeah, >> dude. I saw this little boy. He was dancing on the train and then he ████ slid off. >> Oh yeah, I saw that too. He like goes off the side and down. Yeah, >> he No one reacted. >> They're like, "Oh, >> that's even react." >> They're like, "Are you going to do something?" No. >> Is he dancing like this? >> No. There there's like three boys in the front train surfing and dancing and one slipped and fell on top of like a street bazaar canopy like Aladdin. [laughter] >> Well, that seems that seems planned. >> Street bizarre >> once you once you fall on a canopy like a movie, it's like wait a minute. >> Might be AI, dude. [laughter] >> But he's got to he's got to fall through five of them like Jackie Chan. [laughter] >> Do you feel like when you're at like kid age, right? 15 or something like that, you hear about something like this. Does it kind of make you want to like ride the rides more? >> ████ no.

15 >> I remember as a kid anytime I would ride a roller coaster, I'd always look at the bolts. >> Yeah. >> I'd always like just hyperfixate. I couldn't think about anything and my biggest fear was like flying out of there. >> I could envision the bolts like unscrewing. Well, were you guys like roller coaster kids though? >> ████ no. >> Not really. >> Well, then that that conversation doesn't >> No, no, no. I learned to like them, but even even as learning to like them, I'm always looking like >> like checking stuff like that. >> You're walking. He's walking up to the pipes. No, seriously. I'm like look cuz you know all those uh carnival rides that we see of like uh like the big >> carnival is different cuz you already know that ████ doesn't even belong there permanent. That ████ gets like trucked in, you know? >> Exactly. So like they build it the for the weekend. So you're like, "Dude, how stable is this really?" Like >> not at all. >> Exactly. And then you see videos of like the giant like carnival spinning and then the base isn't screwed down. >> The whole [laughter] thing's like

06 >> And people have to like push it and hold it down. >> That one thing that goes like this with the everyone's sitting. Oh my god, dude. >> Just needs more sandbags, [laughter] >> more carnese. >> That was like the the hammerhead when it came out. Not spar far. I used to work at Knberry Farm. So, I remember like the hammerhead when it came out was like the biggest deal. It was really fun. You know, they do that thing where it flips upside down. It chills >> and rotates. >> It chills out for a second and the water fountain spoop, right? It was really, really fun. But I remember a couple years into it, it got stuck upside down for like 2 hours or something. >> Hammerhead literally shook the ████ out of me. I lost a pocketk knife, my wallet, and like some other change. >> You [laughter] got robbed. >> Yeah, Hammerhead was ████ crap. >> Yeah, cuz it would it would it would just put you upside down and it would just be like kind of like with >> cuz it spins and it goes like this, >> dude. They probably did that on purpose to get all the wallets out. >> Shook the ████ out of you. [laughter]

57 >> Perilous plunge had that lady who plunged perilously. >> Come on, dude. >> The words were right there. I'm just >> Come on. >> It was in a bit. I'm just We're in context. At the beginning of the video, Anony's like, "Don't make jokes about this." >> What happens in Perilous Plunge? >> It's just that water one where you just go up a raft. That's it. And then it's just a freef fall. >> Oh, so it's like tidal wave. >> Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Similar, but just on a giant raft. But then same thing, a topheavy I think woman. >> Oh, >> top heavy person just as it was like starting to do its descent. >> Why you got to add that, man? >> No, that was the whole physics. >> Why you got to say she's topheavy, dude? >> Cuz that's exactly what happened there. >> Wait, how does it work? Say it again. >> She fell over. So, if it goes like this and it's like a drop, but then the person is much more topheavy and it's only a lap bar. >> The person fell. Oh, so while it's leaning, >> did it run it over? >> Oh my god.

47 >> Did it run it over? Is crazy. >> If you if you say topheavy one more time, I'm going to leave the video, dude. >> I think that was the that was on the news. I think they said top heavy. >> A topheavy woman falls off. >> If that was on Jurassic Park the ride, the that's when the dinosaur goes. [laughter] That's like That's like being an Indiana Jones and then the ball's coming, but it actually hits you cuz you're huge. >> Oh, come on, dude. >> You know who bullied me into my first roller coaster? My grandma. [laughter] >> We were at We were at Disneyland. I think it was Gold Rush, but it was the It was the carts. Like you're like going around the caves. >> The wooden one. >> Yeah. Yeah. >> Big Thunder Mountain. >> Big Thunder Mountain or Ghost Rider at Knots. >> No, it was Disneyland. >> Big Thunder Mountain. >> What did she say to convince you to go? Well, it was me, my mom, my dad, my grandma. And then my mom didn't want to

38 ride. [laughter] >> My grandma really wanted to ride Japanese. >> And then and then I was like, I'm scared. And she goes, no, you're not. >> She said, no, you're not. >> He goes, it's fun. Trust me, it's fun. What? >> And then she made me go twice cuz the first time I closed my eyes during the whole time. [laughter] >> Did your grandma live through internment camps? >> No. >> Is that why she loves nothing? >> Horror, Charles Bronson, and roller coasters. >> Charles Bronson. [laughter] >> Yeah. >> She's a Death Wish fan. And then she she got me on being at the front. She goes, "You have to be at the front." So she made me wait until the front. >> No, you got to be in the back for the tail whips. Yo, >> I thought it was the front part. >> And she did this to my eyes the second time around. [laughter] >> Just trying to mess with you, dude. She's funny, man.
