00 I'll tell you guys one of the most alleged stories that I know. >> The most alleged. Okay. So, what was cool is um after after the Marine Corps, I reconnected with my old boss. And you know, like when you reconnect with like a different kind of like time in in your life, you know, you >> old flame. >> Yeah. You kind of like reminisce. Hey, remember this? Remember that? Whatever. And uh one of the things that came up was, hey, do you remember when the FBI came and raided our unit? And I was like, what? What the ████ I don't remember that ████ And he started naming names and I'm like, "Oh yeah, I remember that guy. I remember this guy and that guy." And then uh and then they're like, "Yeah, this guy was involved in this and then that guy was involved in that." And I'm like, "Oh s███." Cuz then now I start seeing like the crumbs that left to like the big ████ loaf of bread. So there was this
50 one dude I remember uh he used to work in the admin side of our unit. And so like our unit was kind of like a pretty self-contained like smaller unit which is different than most I guess Marine Corps units. Most Marine Corps units you'll be like these guys are motor T so that's all they specialize in. They'll have like a 100 Humvees or whatever. Our unit was like a it was smaller so we had every single department all self-contained. We had an admin, we had supply, we had our like forward observers, we even have our medical all contained in the same place. And in admin there's this dude that uh he drove a 5 series and as a marine that's as an enlisted marine that's ████ insane. Like no one has a 5 series BMW when you're like 23 years old. And he was the guy that was everyone would be like, "Yo, how do you like make that kind of money? Like we're all like in the
41 military. You don't make that kind of money." He goes, "Oh, I bet on horses and I raise them." And I'm like >> and I raise >> and I raise them. And he goes, "So if you want you like if you want to get in with me on my next horse, um I just in like maybe like a couple G's, whatever." And I'm like, "How much are these horses?" And he's like, "Oh, if you get the Arabian or you get the SP." Like he just he knew a ████ ton about these horses. And it always just seemed kind of fishy cuz it always feels like he's always doing these weird like um like uncut gems type of rackets, you know? It's like what the ████ are these stories that you do? He goes, "Yeah, I'm just going to go race these horses and then and I could I already know who's going to win." and and he just has like this like he's like too sure of himself >> and but he always knew all these crazy prices of stuff. Fast forward to the story that I know. Uh he was like my my old boss. He was like, "Oh, you don't remember when like NCIS, which is like you know the TV show like the whole Yeah. Na naval uh like crime inspectors
34 come in, the FBI come in, they come on the unit, they come in and and then they arrest this dude and then all these other guys. You don't remember? I'm like, no. So the racket that he ran in the military when you go off and do other military things. So, for example, for my unit, let's say I'm in charge of throwing toys for tots, and I got to go set up these little bins at all these maybe the churches in the local area. Then I go rent uh maybe a banquet room at a hotel so that we can give these toys to kids. Like whatever random other extra stuff that you do in the military, you get this thing called PDM. So, per day, you get like either your mileage paid or your food covered, whatever, right? And a lot of jobs they'll pay per DM if they like send you you know across country overseas or whatever. This guy since he worked in admin he found a way
25 through the system to like pay all of these other dudes like just a little bit extra kind of like office space where no one would recognize it's actually a huge deal. But over time I think he racked up like a couple hundred grand. And I don't know how he got caught, but uh they he got caught and a bunch of them all got arrested. The crazy part is in the middle of the process, this guy fled to Mexico. And so when my boss was telling me about it, I was like, "No ████ way." So he still wanted while all the other guys, they actually went to trial. Some of them got acquitted or were like innocent. Okay, you weren't you you weren't a part of this racket. They just threw your name in there. And so a couple of my buddies, they're free and clear. They're
15 innocent. But then this guy, when I Googled them, he's still a wanted fugitive on the FBI's list. >> Oh ████ >> Isn't that ████ crazy? >> Damn. What the freak? >> And it was just the guy that I would just see like regularly telling me to buy ████ horses off of him. And this guy's like a wanted fugitive and he probably made it cuz like let's say if he got away >> selling horses in Mexico >> if he got away with 500 G's like let's say in 200 nine >> and then you go to Mexico and he's like if he's there and he's probably telling all those ████ big booty Latin ████ that he's a American military guy, he's probably living a life. That probably means he had to physically bring that money, right, in cash if he got it out >> or he ████ stuffed it in a horse's ass or something >> since he knew so much about horses. >> That's scary, dude.
05 >> Yeah, it's crazy. But he he worked in admin and uh it he just knew how to skim just a little bit, but then it triggered something. Some sort of audit came down. >> Yeah, those things are always so crazy because like imagine >> it works so it don't. >> Imagine how ████ bold you get over time. Yeah, >> right. Like you skim like you ████ skim like a dollar here. If if it's day one, you're like, >> you know what I'm saying? But when you're at like day like I don't know, 400 and you've gotten a a couple hundred grand and you're just like, >> I ████ run this place. >> This is my ████ dude. You get co cocky. You're probably like bumping it up a little here, adding another person to the roster here. It's easier to slip up, right? >> Yep. Especially and then as you you know like the higher you work up then there's less people looking over your shoulder. >> Yeah. >> So now it's almost like if you get to
55 sign off on it who is even looking at all the other like your whole pyramid below. >> Yeah. That's what makes me think of like imagine what it feels like to be the investigator that's tracing the line and he goes bingo. Who's this? >> That must be so satisfying. >> Yeah. That's what I'm saying to be like all this money that you don't there's no like record of and no name and then you finally >> pin somebody >> something something. Yeah. That's >> forensic accounting. >> Yeah. Cuz it happens so much later. Like all these things get caught later, right? Like even the homeless industrial complex ████ Oh, this guy got away with 5 billion. Like dude, come on. That's so long. >> You know when they say it's like it's not what you know who you know. It really is that case because there's that bingo guy for everything. >> Yeah. Cuz you can go like let's say bottom up at like WME. Can you sign me? Like I'm going to be a whatever, right?
45 And they'll be like, "Oh, you're you're a s█████ rapper." >> Let's say >> we'll sign you anyway. Tough negotiator. >> Yeah. You're a s█████ rapper. And like, you know, this guy tier tier ████ 10, they decline you. Tier nine declines you. >> You could go all the way up to tier five. But then if somehow like you're like the head honcho's daughter's tennis instructor, hey, you want to check out my demo? This top guy can just greenlight everything and tell everyone else to shut the ████ up. >> Like the Somalian sprinter, the freaking the race, they just like put the the niece >> Oh, yeah. Yeah. >> doesn't even run. >> It's like you can bypass any system. Any if you just meet the right bingo. It's absolutely true. Or if that bingo guy
35 was in on it, like you could get away with it forever until there's a new bingo guy that's not in on it. >> Yeah. But the truth is, if I couldn't take advantage of that, I'd be extremely jealous. >> Yep. >> And then also truth is the second it's helped me one time, >> I get it. You know, I get it. >> Do what you got to do. >> If that guy found you today and was like, "Hey, take that video down." >> Would you take it down? >> No. What are you like, "Stay in Mexico, dude. What the hell? >> What if he's like, "Hey, I'll give you a little bit of money. Take it down." >> Yeah, I'll take it down tomorrow. >> Dude, Bart's a businessman. He's very reasonable >> entrepreneur. That's crazy that he's probably just been out of the country this whole time. >> Also, it's it's also probably crazy to think that like how many people be doing that in the military? Even just the military.
26 >> Yeah, just the military alone. Or even like at every unit there's got to be one guy skimming something. >> That even sounds crazy to think that even what every unit >> even like cuz you know like my mom would come home with extra paper towels just cuz like she was cool like she would at her workplace she'd be like >> like the janitor like she he stocks all of the the paper towels, right? And he goes, "Well, I have this much. I stocked everything. I don't want to go all the way back over there. Anybody want it?" >> Yeah. >> And just like just the little stuff, you know? My mom, oh, I'll take it. Every time I leave here, I'm stealing extra matalines like as as if I need them. >> They're too good. They're actually good. But I be getting comfortable because like like the last couple weeks, I just put one in my bag. I go home and then I realize by the time I get home the the it's empty. There's nothing but crumbs cuz I ate it in the car and I'm like, "Well, I'm going to have one later." So now I'd be taking two. >> Those are not even like the company's malines. I brought those for you guys.
17 >> You did? >> They're stealing from Ryan actually. >> They're so good. >> So you're essentially That's a gift to you as it is. Can you steal Can you steal some more for us? >> And my mom and dad gave me those. >> I guess I'm I guess I'm taking three today. >> But you know, like the five finger discount is so uh common place in the military. They just there's a term for it. It's called falling off the truck. >> Yeah. Yeah. But falling off the truck has also got to be a lot different from skimming off the top in PDM. >> That's great. when it's like so go to jail >> when it's so orchestrated cuz for me since I work supply I order everything in the whole unit and I was going to college at the time so things that fell off the truck a bunch for me would be like highlighters pens office supplies papers but I never had to pay for pensers you know like all that stuff but like yeah to skim off the top and make hundreds of G's that's crazy
07 >> and like look you're saying like that's maybe one guy one you half a mill right roughly >> him and Maybe the every other guy probably got 100 grand, 50 grand, 70 grand. >> Even if like there's only 10 in the whole country that do that, which is I would say reasonably a low number conservative. 10 people only in the entire American military skimming off the top. >> Absolutely unrealistic. >> Okay, so let's just say it's 10, but let's just say it's like 10 a week. That's it. You know what I mean? Or a year. Let's make it really conservative. That's still millions of dollars. I mean, that's the reason why there is a military jail. It's called the brick. They don't go to regular people jail. Like there's like enough crimes in the military that the military needs its own jails. >> Yeah. >> Cuz people be doing DUIs and ████ or they like ████ their neighbor's wife or ████ steal or just >> Yeah, you got to go. >> You're going to jail for ████ your neighbor's wife. >> You don't think you shouldn't, dude. You
58 should go for I could I couldn't maybe imagine that if you're like on some like, you know, this is like your base in like Afghanistan. It's like, you know what I mean? like they just spent a lot of money to build this baseball field here for all the all the kids that are growing up and and then it's like yo you just ████ your neighbor's wife and nobody can leave this square block. That's a crime like Right. You're going to jail for that. >> You're messing with the code of ethics over there. >> Yeah. It's called the Uniform Code of Military Justice UCMJ. And stealing is article 121 lararseny and appropriation. >> Lararseny. >> You look so funny when you're thinking of stuff like that. >> Well, I'm trying to like go back I'm trying to go back like 20 years. I'm like, >> he only remembers that's what he got convicted of. >> Stole 10 highlighters this week, Bart. >> Yeah. >> He's like, man, that's section 112 hitting me all the time. >> That's America's highlighter, son.
