00 If one person brings up the topic and I explain that reason, they're going to bring up another topic. So, they're not even going to go back to that topic anymore about my explanation on why they did this and why they did. They just say, "Okay, well, how about this?" They already made up their mind. Well, I I rather not talk to the uneducated people. Then, then why are you talking to me? [Music] Welcome back to a highly classified episode of Careful Boys where today we're going to talk about the Signal app situation with the Trump administration. Yeah. What's going on with all of that? All right. So, basically uh what had happened? You know the signal app? Signal app is like a messenger app that's like encrypted in a way that like for us like regular human beings at this level of society, most people only jump on the Sigma app because like your local drug dealer is

50 like slain you stuff if you need to pick up like whatever. So, it's kind of like Yeah, it's just encrypted messaging app when you want to talk about something. Okay, so what happened? Ironically, apparently the White House has uh they use a signal app, which is already weird uh versus some sort of highly government security technology type of thing that's like private to their own servers. Yeah, like their own app or something. But apparently they were using the signal app as a text exchange service and discussing specific military and defense secretary top intelligence officials were a part of this thing and they accidentally invited the editor and chief of the Atlantic Jeffrey uh Goldberg into this Oh my god. And they were talking about a a specific actual um operation in terms of the

41 bombing in Yemen. Jeez. Yeah. War plan. And and so this editor-inchief of The Atlantic screenshot the signal messages and then posted it and published it. Why? Why would he do that? See, that that's where I get confused. Yeah. Is like the actual publishing of the text message is like that's a breach too, isn't it? Yeah. Isn't that Isn't that double breach? Isn't that the major breach? Like is he trying to break a news story or like Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Of course. Everything. It's just like he's he's an editor-in chief of a freaking an actual news source type thing. So, they're like, "Wait, I have all this information." But were they doing anything illegal? Because that just seems ████ up cuz that's kind of like let's say you got in in in a group chat with the SWAT team and then the the SWAT team's like organizing like a drug bust and then like you put that out on the news and now the drug dealers know that

33 the drug bust is coming so they can leave. You know, that's just what it sounds I think the things were actually happening in real time. So, for example, uh well, here the Atlantic's editor-inchief Jeffrey Goldberg, who was accidentally included in the signal discussion and exposed it, published the entire text exchange Wednesday after officials minimized their actions, maintaining that nothing classified was discussed. Signal group included the defense secretary and top intelligence officials in the Trump administration as they discussed an ongoing military operation in Yemen earlier this month. The new details about the group's messages confirmed that Defense Secretary Pete Hgse described specific weapon systems that would launch strikes in Yemen and that he announced the beginning of the operation more than an hour before the strikes hit. So by the time this was published, the strikes had happened and apparently there were even like text emojis like good job guys, we did it type stuff. So just humans being

25 humans. Yeah. It's just I think really ironic to like talk about uh that's crazy humans being humans but like these are top level humans talking about bombing other humans. Yeah. Yeah. I mean it happens regardless no matter what. It's just it's just war. Like people think like oh my god it does. So so the scandal is not like the bombings happen ironically. It's the fact that you accidentally invited an editor-inchief of like a news publication into a very consumerbased uh messaging app to discuss war plan. There's a lot of question marks. You're like, I thought you were supposed to be ████ highle ████ and you guys were making stupid mistakes like this. You know what they say? It might have been a whiskey slip. What? Someone must have been on whisies. Oh, whiskey slip. Slip. Oh, there it is. Whoopsie. Accident text sent. Oh, that

15 might be some boomer ████ though, too. Yeah, it just it's just like ████ man. Like a random contact. You're like, I didn't even know I did that. That was a butt dial. At this point, it just shows whatever is happening regardless you're high level or not, we're all humans. But it's just weird. They are even on like a consumer app. Yeah. Yeah. Like why wouldn't they have their own platform would be the Yeah. Like a government cuz even ████ doctors got their hospital, right? They have well they also have a whole like network that they use on so it can be confidential like like these these these IT companies go to hospitals and like this is the software we're trying to sell you so this is the what you use within the hospital communication yeah exactly but what if they don't want it to be reviewed so that's why they're using telegram and ████ like that cuz they would give too much credit I don't think it's that but then if it was a government like

06 official app right it would everything would be logged unless they're trying are they trying to trap that guy? Like did they create a fake conversation scenario to trap this guy? I think these bombs actually went off in the exact way that they were being or but maybe they're trying to they know this guy is a public publicizing type dude. Let's catch this guy in the like you know like create a fake scenario right with real conversation. I don't know. So far, all the backlash is very clearly evident that it was and they're even officially statements that they're like, "Oh, it was just a m it was just a mistake. They're trying to downplay it." I saw some screen caps and it said Waltz. And I thought the whole time the the the candidate Tim Waltz. No, not Tim Waltz, Mike Walt. I know, but I was just picturing that guy as like, "Wow, he's a teacher and he was doing this s███." So

57 then of course there there's also the question where like um the fact that it happened also hits kind of different because like there are uh veterans or active duty troops who can be discharged and prosecuted for much lower level leaks and you're talking about like fullon like actual operational war plans that are being leaked at the highest level and it's like oh yeah it's just a mistake even though fully publicized. They'll never get those same punishments though unfortunately. Right. Yeah, cuz didn't Hillary Clinton get caught with hella personal email leak stuff and then that kind of nothing happened. But at the end of the day, they're just going to put it under the rug. So, it doesn't matter. People are going to forget talking about it at this point. Who gives a ████ Just ride away. At this point, everybody gives a ████ No, at this point they do. But a week or two under the rug. But I think they do give

47 a ████ especially cuz it is a new administration. Mhm. So, I feel like if you guys are supposed to be a change, let's see. And like, oh ████ they need Yeah. And then this happened cuz that's what it really is on top of everything else you're doing. You know, that's they're under a microscope right now. I'm I'm aware of that, but it's just like ████ man. But also, I think it's ████ up of the guy to go, hey, look what I saw in here. Versus, hey, just to let you know, you invited me. I don't think I, you know, it's like imagine like your homie sends you nudes like, "Hey, by the way, uh, I don't think I was supposed to get these." The homie sent me nudes. What up, every Instagram? But what if it's not homies though? Oh, that's true. But I think if it's your country, you know what I mean? I don't know. That's some crazy stuff that But also, if he's a journalist, you got to expect that. That's their job. That's his job.

38 But I'm also like, what's your priorities and what's your allegiance? So if I'm a journalist, I found out my dad is cheating on my mom, they go, "Oh, I got a story on my dad." Or do I go, "Oh ████ maybe we should keep this kind of private even though I'm a journalist, right? Some sort of discernment in the bigger picture." Where is your allegiance? In my head, if I was that journalist, I'd be like, "If I leak this to the press, am I going to end up dead in 10 days?" That part too, like mysteriously. Am I going to go to jail if I leak this ████ Like that's that would be what would be on my brain. But like any type of war type operational security ████ I'm like I don't know any of that stuff should ever go. Yeah. But maybe there was a I don't know. Was there like a war crime? That's like national security. Who's the who's the leakage on? Is it on the like the guy who the journalist or is Yeah. Is it on the person who I think it's all the Yeah, there's two f██████ for sure.

29 Yeah. And then I think journalists are Yeah. They're supposed to be for the people, right? So maybe they're like I got to show the people what's going on. Yeah. And they're just they're waiting on every little slip up they make. Or there's incentive that we just don't know about. Yeah. Who knows? At the end of the day, we don't we don't know. We don't know ████ Yeah. If I get a message of you guys talking ████ about one of the JK guys, I'm going to ████ put you on blast, dude. Do it. I'm going to put you guys on blast. Yeah. You'll go viral, dude. If I get a separate chat of like Ryan being like, "Yo, actually, I don't like Anthony that much. I'm going to ████ put that viral, dude. I'll put on Instagram." ████ No, I'll never do that. I'll tell Ryan you said it to the wrong group. Actually, if it's Ryan, I'm not going to mess with Ryan. Cuz Ryan will get me dead in 10 days. Put in the careful one chat. Just talk ████ See their face. That's what I mean. I'm going to put it in there. I'm going to put it in there. So, I'm going to put in there so good, dude. I mean, we we happen to live in a

20 time where like there's highlevel scrutiny of like the government right now, you know, and the administration. They make they ████ step one toe out of line and it's going to be like national headline news cuz everybody's waiting for it. Y there's what I'm saying. There's no like even right now it's even if you do something good it's not even like okay well you did that right. It's like if you do something good it's like well I'm not going to make that news right now. Like where did you ████ up? That's literally what it is. That's why but this is this is kind of a big ████ up. No it's definitely a big ████ up but at the same time who gives a ████ because think about it think about it. We ain't going to do nothing nor the people are going to do nothing. It just gives them a topic to talk about something. It's It's the principal. Yeah. Like, is anyone going to get fired? Yeah. Like, what's about to happen? We don't know. All I know is we got to pay bills on the first. Yeah.

10 At this point, it's so ████ tiring trying to talk to people about this ████ about Trump and all this polit It's so tiring. You know what I mean? Yeah. What kind of So, so from the people that you talk to, we're like the talking points that most people are saying nowadays. It's like if it's about if it's she bring if one person brings up the topic and I explain that reason, they're going to bring up another topic. So, they're not even going to go back to that topic anymore about my explanation on why they did this and why they did. They just say, "Okay, well, how about this?" Then you're just like, they already made up their mind. Yeah. It's already made up their mind to a point where it's just like then there's no point of talking to you then because it's always going to go, "Well, forget this then. Well, what do you think about this now?" And you're just like, it's just a circular argument. It's just like, "What the ████ I'm so tired of this. Like, I don't give a ████ anymore." You're right. You're ████ right. Well, I I rather not talk to the uneducated people then. then why are you talking to me?

02 I don't get it. It's just like and I and you know I would write them a message like you're absolutely right. I'm uneducated so have a nice day. So but what do you think about it's like stop pursuing it then? Just like this is exactly the argument we're all talking about now is you guys won't stop and you guys are bringing in different topics constantly and some of the news you're bringing up is that was his 2016 term. It's all old news. Like we don't I don't give a ████ man. If you want me to talk to me, please pay me. Pay me to talk to me. Pay me cuz then I will sit down and just if that's if you have some type of urge, like you want to be correct all the time, pay me. I'm sitting down and I'm going to give you all the wrong answer. But if you're not paying me and I'm driving, ████ off. You know what I

52 mean? Like I don't give a ████ to me. I I got to drive. I got to work. I I just don't I don't give a ████ Why do you feed into it? Yeah. Why do you feed into it? Because Because No, I'm not feeding I'm not feeding into it. Look, there goes my cousin. But I'm not feeding into it. I'm not feeding into it. It's just like you're asking me why and I'm telling you, but you got to stick to that topic. You know what I'm saying? Let's continue that topic first. But if you want to constantly move topic and that's Dan that's already 20 30 minutes. I'm wasting time. I'm trying to be nice and talk to you but you want to keep doing something else then pay me. There are people that just want to continuously have Yeah. Some people just for the sake of being like argument. Yeah. They what they'll do is a lot of people do this is

44 um they just whatever you say they'll say the counter. Yes. they don't actually know, but it's an easy way of basically quote unquote winning. So like if they're just adversarial toward what you say, like whatever you say, then I'll say the counter or I'll I'll throw a question at you that's like, "Well, what about this? What about that?" Right? But there's nowhere that the conversation goes. It's nowhere. Yeah. And it's just so stupid. That's why I just give up and I just say, "You're right. He's an ████ but he's still your president, baby. So, stick with it for more years, ████ Come on, ████ What you going to do? How can someone this in confident be in the house? I was like, I don't know. The ████ whoever let him be the president, you should talk to them.

35 Don't talk to me. ████ I'm You know what I think happens though? Come on, baby. ████ I think like people they want to say so much ████ to like what they think a Trump supporter is or whatever, right? Like a hardcore MAGA person, but they don't have that person to talk to. So, they just say it to you. He's the closest one. Yeah. They say it to the closest person. Cuz I feel like sometimes people do that where they're like, "Oh, well, I read this comment about this ████ stupid MAGA guy." And then they treat me like that. And I'm all like, "Bro, like handle your ████ issues with whatever you saw that you're like holding on to." And then like we can have a talk about whatever, but then it's almost like they already have an idea. And I see this on the right, too,

26 where they already, if they automatically think you're like a liberal, then they automatically think you're like a blue-haired extremist. Preconceived notion. Yeah. So, then I'm like, what they're doing is they're arguing with straw, man. Like, they're just arguing with this imagination of who they think and they don't have anybody they can fight with. Mhm. So, then they they go to the closest person that they think is that a representative. Yeah. Cuz they don't actually talk to anybody on the other side. But, you know, here's the funniest thing is I'm not far right regardless. I'm not far left. You know what I mean? Like, you're far gone. I'm far gone. Yeah. So, but here's the thing, right? People, it's just Steve that put it you're Trump. You're mother. I was just like, cool. I'll go with it. You do kind of loudly on this channel go like Trump, you do. Yeah. Because because when they when they asked why, at the end of the

16 day, it's true. Who is a better person at that time? It was for sure wasn't going to be that one. You know what I mean? So that's why I just said I think I I I I think for sure just Trump was just better. That's all I said. That's that was my only opinion. That's I think personally he's better people. Oh, that just opens up the gates to so much. Now everyone goes, "Oh, you ████ right." I'm just like, "No, not I'm just chilling. I just picked the better dude. That's it. That's all I have to say." You know what I mean? Come on, man. Say yes. I I know what you mean. I know what you mean in that like I've never outwardly supported Trump and I've never outwardly denounced the Democratic side or anything like that, you know, but because I didn't publicly fight for all the things that like, you know, people on the liberal left or the Democratic, you know,

07 because I wasn't public with it. Yeah. Like I am I am a narcissistic conservative blah blah blah and I'm just getting called out for it. People hit you up with that. Yeah. And and it's crazy all day. Yeah. You know, like I think that's the crazy part is like I thought it was just a everyone's just like laughing and it's not that serious, right? See, that's what I thought. So that's why I was like, "Yeah." And then we're playing along with it and then I realized like, "Oh ████ there's a lot of people that were like ████ pissed, dude." ████ I was like, "What the f███?" Like somebody got super pissed and like an old friend of mine like DM'd uh and was ranting on me talking mad ████ because we reposted that photo of Tulsi when she was uh given the position of director of national intelligence. And ironically we took that photo when

59 she wasn't a Republican. She didn't endorse Trump. She had just left the Democratic party and written a book as an independent saying why I left the Democratic party. We that's when we sat down with her. There was no literally it was a neutral conversation of trying to understand something. Yeah. And so reposting that photo later wasn't me going like hey I am a I am a Nazi but like the way I was getting ranted and I was getting literally from an old friend called like scum of the earth trash. Wow. Just because of the way it looks. But unfortunately, the majority of people don't fact check or give the person that they trust or a friend the benefit of the doubt or ask. Simply ask. That's what blows my mind is like, "Hey, I thought we were friends for like 8 years and then um but what annoys me the most is it's usually coming from people that don't even study politics. Like

50 they just got into it like a year ago. They don't know the history of each candidate. They haven't been following this. They haven't even voted when they turned 18. Like, you know what I mean? Like, they're like, it's almost like, how dare you come at me so hard and intense when you just got into something and you don't even understand what it is. I think a lot of people jump on the bandwagon just to feel like they're a part of something or Yeah. or it involves their lifestyle or their life. That's why they need to be in that, which is fine, but like you don't have to be so emotional talking to me. and this old friend would literally like repost that and talk junk on me on like their IG stories and stuff to like our shared community. And it's like now I'm just getting like this crazy, you know, and and I feel fortunate to be in such a unique situation even with JK where

40 we're sitting with somebody who's now the director of national intelligence. We got a chance to sit with somebody like a real kind of like thing, a real process about them like leaving Democratic Party and us just asking questions. But then now that's like I'm by association amunist or a you know like just the most outrageous fascism. Like I'm like what the ████ Like we all came from this. We you know me. Yeah. I've been like why didn't you text me or we just did an interview. That's it. That's all we did. We sat down talked to a lady for a couple hours. As human beings, shouldn't we want to opt to be critical thinkers and look at both sides and decide whether or not we agree with either one of them? That's what I don't understand. Cuz whether it's Republican or Democrat, it's still American. These are different parties within America. It's not like a

30 foreign threat. It's not like, hey, we're voting for ISIS. You know what I mean? So, it's like, but they treat it that's what they treat it like. But then I'm like, "Yeah, but the process here is you're supposed to have opposing views. You have to be the extremist and you're supposed to have the conversations and then make your decision based on the options." And I think there's a lot of uh vote blue no matter who's and there's a lot of these like it's religious. It's like, it's almost like, yeah, I'm born into this ████ and if you leave, you're a race traitor. You're this. And it's like, dude, what the ████ That's crazy, man. It's like a Yeah, I don't get it. Whereas like I could still objectively sit here and be like, yo, Trump's administration ████ up with this

20 thing. It's like, okay, cool. Like, I hope I hope we don't make more mistakes moving forward, but yeah, at this moment for this this term, that's our president. So, like, let's let's hope they do better. You have no choice. have to write it cuz once again his first term was the same thing. You didn't like him. I didn't like him. We still had to write it. People are just tripping, man. But that happens with every presidency. Like the opposing group just they they don't like it for the for the next four years and then it's just I mean it always happens. But I think now it's just u I don't remember a time when it was almost as if like yeah you're voting for ISIS to it's like this is it's crazy like they think you're just a morally wrong person cuz you cuz you cuz you cuz you participated

12 in the American process of voting and you did everything like you chose your candidate. Like they think you're ████ ISIS. Like that's the craziest ████ for me. Yeah. Are you guys still friends? No. You shouldn't be. That's ████ whack. That's ████ up. Yeah, that's ████ whack. This ████ is super whack.
