00 So, a long time ago, when you guys first learned that Tyga was playing soccer at a competitive level, I have some words to eat because we did make fun of how he was getting smoked. As a new development, Tyga's team is now Las Vegas champions. >> Wow. >> Big deal. >> But also, the way Bart painted it was like they sucked. >> He was getting ████ smoked. >> like 10 to 10 to 1 or something, right? >> Cuz the one other game you went to you went to one or two other games before. >> Two other games, yeah. >> But one of them he got smoked. >> They lost, yeah, that one, yeah. >> So, you saw how much they got ████ smoked. >> Did they um >> I don't know about smoked that one, but >> him in the rematch. >> They get the Yeah, play the same teams they got smoked from? >> Uh one of them. So, one was pretty cool. So,

50 uh the club that he's in, they play quite a bit I realized because one of Tyga's best friends at school I was talking to their mom and they play in another league or another club. And for them to pack their son's schedule cuz they really like soccer, too, he has they have to put them in two different clubs to play five six days a week. So, Tyga's club is just one club and he's playing five to seven days a week. >> Wow. >> And so, um and it's full year-round. So, it's not like seasonal. It's not like, "Oh, he's going to play football and then he's going to play basketball or whatever." It's like it's just a soccer club and it's a pipeline to hopefully to the pros one day. Like that's that's the goal. It's like a development type So, when he joined, it was a brand new program for the 9-year-olds and it in the preseason, they just wanted him to get as many games as possible cuz they

41 think that's where the development really happens. He goes, "Yeah, we can do the coaching and all the drilling, but once they start competing Yeah, all the games get them really good." So, in the beginning, they were getting ████ smoked, especially since they're a new team. Like another team that's been together like, "Oh, we were five and we played six, seven, eight. We've been playing for three years. They have chemistry and all that. So, it was a brand new team playing other teams that had three years of experience and they were getting smoked like crazy. But now, it's really, really cool to see them only in three or four months, they avenged one of their biggest losses from the last tournament and they avenged it in this tournament and they smoked them. >> Nice, yeah. >> Yeah. >> Dude, and the way that Tyga's team won the tournament, it was all on Tyga because it was by penalty kicks. So, the pressure's all on him. >> He's goalie. >> And it happened two times in that tournament, right? >> Yeah, so in the semi-finals, it was tie

33 and then they have to do this whole penalty kick thing, which is like best out of five and then if they tie there, which they did, it's sudden death. It's whoever gets the plus one. So, if you score, you miss, they score again, it's over. So, when it's that like one for one, one for one, it's really, really scary cuz even though it takes a team to get there, it seems like it's a one-on-one sport at the time and then, you know, it's all on the goalie's parents, you're like, "F███, I hope the ████ parents don't hate me." You know? And then they won the semi-finals. I was like, "Oh, thank god, cuz this is how we lost last time." Then they went to the finals and it was the same thing again, tie game, penalty kick tie, now sudden death. I'm like, "Oh my ████ god." And then I was already uh finding a cope. I'm like, "Oh my god, he did so good. He did better than last time. He still just

23 gets over it. Like if he got over it, that'd be cool." That's already a a huge That's already a huge >> Try to figure out ways to cheer him up already. >> Yeah, I'm like, "Okay, this is this is great." And then >> That's how Bart talks when he's nervous, by the way. >> Yeah. And then ████ they won and I was like, "Holy ████ that's f███." And you see Tyga on the side when they switch turns, when he's in the when he's in the goal and then when he goes off to the side and the other team's goalie is in there, you see him there on his knees. He's going like, "Oh my god." He has no shame. He has those big ass goalie gloves please." >> How relatable is this dude? >> just like on his knees like begging, "Please." >> Dude, that's so awesome, bro. >> Yeah, yeah, yeah. >> And this team, they take it so seriously. Didn't you say like before when they lost they were just all crying like in the previous games before the tournament? >> Tyga's team, when it gets to the final penalty kicks, it's really on two players. Your star shooter, the person

15 that kicks the best, the most accurate, and then your goalkeeper. So, at the last game, the last tournament, when it got to the penalty kicks, um our star shooter, he hit the crossbar, which is the top bar, twice, which are misses. So, if he missed twice, Tyga didn't block one of the balls, that's how we lost. So, both of those kids, they were crying like crazy cuz they felt like they lost the game for the whole team. >> Yeah, like it's their personal fault. >> Which is so cute cuz like to be able to like ingrain accountability at that age, >> For real. >> it was it's better for me it's bet- it's easier for me as a parent to like go, "Oh, no, it's cool. Like this is what we have to work on, whatever." And then it's a team sport than someone that's already pushing the responsibility to someone else. Like, "Dude, if they would have done way better, I wouldn't even

05 have to block those things." >> accountability. >> Yes. So, when they're over accountable, it's way easier as a parent to kind of like >> Dial it back. >> Dial it back versus someone that is just >> versus you did this. >> blaming everybody for their mistakes. And I'm like, "Ah, I think you got to be accountable for some of it." So, it was cool to kind of see them go to the exact same situation and then win this time. >> Dude, yeah, that was it was pretty cool. >> Especially as a 9-year-old. Like how many 9-year-olds get that experience and have a chance to like, you know, make it happen again. >> Yeah, make it right. >> They looked so happy. It's the cutest thing ever, dude. >> Yeah, they're just jumping up and they're like, "Yeah, we did it." >> Yeah, they're just jumping and then and then lifting Tyga up in the air. >> And he's going to remember that forever. That's a core memory in his brain, you know? Like >> And then you know what's the cutest thing is So then they go and they do like a metal ceremony where the coach describes each person's achievement and

55 like, you know, this guy deserves this for this reason, whatever. And then after they did all that, took took photos of the trophy, they just go, "Can we play in the playground now?" And then they all just like go rush to the sandbox and just go crazy. Imagine how that feels. That's >> Yeah, cuz it's like when they're on the field to the best of their ability, they're playing like a professional team. >> Mhm. >> They're running the plays that they've been practicing. They have running all these strategies that we got to push hard. You see ████ kids get clotheslined and they're doing like a flip in the air, land on the ground. They still get up like, "I ████ got this." So as alpha as they can be as a 9-year-old, you see them like, "Oh, I'm here to ████ scrap." And then right after they go, "Yeah, I'm going on the swings." >> And they're swinging hard. >> Yeah, and they're like, "Oh, s███." They're trying to get as high as they can. Swinging like a champion. >> My favorite is when they get fouled and then they just go, "What?"

47 Like just like adults, you know, like >> They learn the theatrics early on. Like, "Come on, ref, what the ████ was that?" So the playground to them was like the bar and like getting groupies. It was just like I need to unwind, dude. >> in their uniforms just like playing on like jungle gyms. So what did you think of that ref that that ref the game? I heard you like them a lot. >> Oh, yeah. Like I I want to get his number so we can like, you know, maybe go swimming sometime. >> So with this ref, caused a lot of problems for the team. I I guess on one hand you could see it as he's either a really bad ref or he's actually trying to fix the game. What's he doing? >> No, I was so ████ sad cuz I'm uh I thought to have better like quality quality control or checks and balances, you would want to rotate refs. But he was our ref for four games. >> Oh my god. >> And starting with game one, you could already see the super inconsistent calls. And in soccer, certain calls can

39 be made and it's a automatic point for the other team already. So that he can sway the game anyway. So, for example, like a penalty kick, which is just going to be one guy kicking into the goal and the guy blocking, it's 70% chance the guy's going to make the penalty kick. So, if you give them a penalty kick, they're probably just going to get a point. And there's this one play where the other team like ████ NFL tackles one of our guys, he flies on the ground, but because this guy's so ████ old and ████ he thought this guy attacked this guy. So, he gives this guy a penalty kick, and that guy just so happened to be their star shooter. So, he shoots, Tiger tries his best, misses, and then we could have not even gone to penalty kicks. It would never have gone to a tie, but because of that ref, it went to a tie twice for both games. >> And he was like making straight-up mistakes. Like he gave a yellow card twice to the same kid. And the all the

29 parents had to go, "That's the same kid!" And he was like, "Oh, oh, okay." >> Cuz usually it's like if it's a yellow card the first time, the second time it's already a red card. Like he's supposed to get kicked off the field. Like you can't give two warnings. >> Does he get yelled at? Like do you guys yell at him? >> Bro, you guys all yelling. What if he's like, "Kids deserve second chances." >> Yeah. The parents were the parents >> Parents were hella yelling. >> they're going to complain after? Like, "Dude, get this ref off." >> the coach after. I was like, "Hey, is there anything we can do about these refs?" And they're like, "Honestly, we can't. You can file a complaint, but they just kind of like >> In the moment, that's all there is. Like Catholic priests. >> Slip him a twenty. >> Can you see yourself Can you see yourself ever getting into an altercation with other parents? >> ████ yeah. Like I can't see myself starting ████ >> Uh-huh. Yeah. >> But in the last game, that other side, cuz Rhino was there, the others they started mouthing off, and I was like, I

20 started feeling my blood boil. And I'm pretty chill, but I started going Woah! Like I wanted to do the whole Bruce Lee like or ████ Van Damme like I was like, "WHAT THE ████ GOING ON?" >> What do you mean by mouthing off? Like to you guys or the kids or >> So, like you know when like when people talk ████ to you, "Oh, your shoes are You're like, "Oh, yeah, they are ugly." You don't care. But then when they start talking ████ about your kid or your team's kids, you want this immediate feeling of wanting to protect the kids come out. So when they're like, "Look at him, that guy's cheating. He's cheating been cheating all day." And you're like, "Dude, that kid is like the most innocent kid on the team." >> Talking against cheaters is so crazy. >> to go up and go, "Man, ████ you. I ████ you, ████ Shut the ████ You know, cuz he's like they're talking ████ to the kid like >> And it's in such close proximity. >> Yeah, they're right next to you. And they're talking ████ to these ████ The kids are just like playing and ████ >> Oh, look at that kid. That kid's a dirty

10 player. He's so dirty, you know? >> And you can hear pretty much everything everyone's saying. >> Wait, so they don't have separate bleachers? >> No, it's it's like this, but then it's also a nice open field. It's It's like sound You can just hear every word. >> Cuz it's a big tournament. So if there's 12 fields, all 12 are getting played at the same time. So you have to sit side by side. It's like a IBJJF match, right? There's like 12 mats. >> The kids when the kids matches, those parents are insane. >> They're worse than the adults so much. >> All altercations that happen at like jujitsu tournaments, it's always with kids. >> Yeah. >> Like with the parents and the ref, like they go ham, bro. >> you hear one of the other older kids? So families go and support, right? I would One of our moms was calling advice. Like, "Hey, make sure you cover that corner." There was like a 15-year-old girl on this side, probably older sister to our opposing team. "Oh, mister, cover the

00 corner on that side." >> Oh, she's mocking her? >> Mocking and echoing. >> Dude. >> And you would hear the dad go, "Shh, quiet." >> Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. >> I'm like, "Oh, dude, that's a recipe for this mom to go over there and just slap her in the face." >> when that girl, that same girl kept going on the field to celebrate every time they did something, and the dad eventually was like, "Stop doing that." >> Yeah. >> Cuz it's like you're going to get him in some ████ >> Yeah, I was like >> Poor dad. >> Dude. >> That's when you got to snatch her dog. "Hey, get your ass over here, dude." >> And that dad, I feel like when I first got there was kind of talking a lot, too. And then at the end he was just like way more quiet. Where do you think she got it? >> Cuz before the whole soccer our whole soccer like um like full involvement I was like, "Oh, I'll never be one of those dads or whatever." But then once I experienced it, I was like, "I could totally see

50 myself being one of those >> Especially since Ty is winning tournaments, dude. That's way more exciting than being a parent of a crappy kid. >> But you probably get into less ████ Cuz the stakes will never get that Like if you get eliminated, he's only play always playing but the preliminary games, you know? >> But it's cool to see him experience glory, dude. That's something that you got to earn, bro. Like seeing him like be the star goalie of his team that everyone's relying on him and he came through. That's a freaking >> I like the arc that he used to suck and the team used to be so bad. >> Great arc, dude. It's a good arc. >> He's been working really hard. You said You were telling us that he's been going to all the practices. >> So he practices His practices are 7:00 to 8:30 Monday, Tuesday uh Thursday. And then on Tuesdays he has double practice cuz he has goalkeeper practice. So he's actually We're on the field from 5:00 all the way till 8:30. >> He's hustling.

40 >> Every every Tuesday when >> This has got to be way cooler than like your dad watching you lose to a blind wrestler, right? >> My dad didn't see me. >> He wasn't there. >> But I I lo- I lost >> This got to be cooler than you like going to Kumon and seeing a guy with no arms and no legs and ████ >> like a high school thing? >> Yeah. >> Cool. How old was >> Yeah. In In high school uh >> Yeah, tell Peter. >> really good hearing. No, so I don't even know what happened. >> like a Daredevil situation. >> a It was a high school like It's It was a high school duel, so it's just two teams. >> Okay. Okay. >> Two teams uh matched up against each other. I go up to my guy and then my ref go- goes uh "Let me get a go- time." And I was like, "What?" He blows the whistle. He blows the whistle. This guy has a clean double. And you know from like a clean double you're pinning the guy. Cuz it was my feet gets lift off the cuz I'm still

30 going, "What the ████ My feet getting getting off the floor." Boom, hit the ground. >> Two shoulder blades touch the ground, boom. >> I'm like, "What the f███?" I get up and then the guy's like like this. And I was like, "Oh, he's blind." So, what the ref was saying you have to keep your hands on him at all times. >> Yeah, yeah, cuz when you're you're supposed to start touching. >> know that. >> Wait, what the ref was Why did he >> But then the ref was deaf. So, that's why he said it all ████ weird. And then later on I see the guy go off to the side, the guy I wrestled against. The coach was giving him Skittles. And then he was like this and the Skittles were falling off. So, I WAS LIKE, "OH, WHAT THE ████ BRO?" >> The Skittles part's not real, right? You You added that to the story. That's your flavor to the story. >> This was ████ at This was at Gabrielino, dude.

22 >> The like ref and the blind guy couldn't even like collude with each other, though. They have no common language. >> But hey, but he's starting on rules that he's not used to. >> I'm not used to it. >> The The hands on already, like that's an advantage. >> guy >> He's got Remember, he's got grips already. He's got >> That guy's used to used to hearing that. >> is stronger, though. >> That guy's used to hearing me. >> He's used to going, "Hey, put hands on him on all the time." So, he's probably already going like like this. I'm like usually you go like, "Okay, you slap hands and I'm going to and I'm and I'm ready I'm not ready to go like, "Wait, what the ████ You got to start like this." >> Cuz usually you don't start with grips already. >> start like ████ like touching fingertips. >> Yeah, you start separated and then you lock, you know. >> And then and then yeah, and then the ref like "Ging gang gong guy." And I was like, "Huh?" And he just blows the whistle. CUZ HE CAN'T HEAR YOU. HUH? You didn't hear you

12 say, "Huh?" >> Like this. He's like this. >> Ging gang GONG GUY. >> I WAS LIKE, "OH, ████ WHAT THE ████ IS GOING ON, DUDE?" DUDE, THAT WAS CRAZY. >> ████ up by a blind guy. >> Boom. Blast double, feet in the air, game over. And now my whole squad saw me get pinned in under like 5 seconds by a blind guy. >> No, it was uh >> Collar ties. >> No, you're supposed to I think start with touching fingertips. >> Oh, that's a little weird. >> I think something I don't know. >> Why don't it just be like a collar tie each? >> I didn't even get a chance to get set up. I don't know what it is. He blew the whistle. >> I feel like he's remembering it wrong. >> Let's go. >> Dude, he was >> He was up. >> I could see you just like looking at the ref as he's telling you ████ Instead of looking at the blind guy. >> No, yeah. >> That's a very understandable thing cuz

02 that would happen to me too, I think. That would for sure happen to me. >> No, I I >> Your your personation of the blind guy is going >> Cuz he he wasn't even looking at me, too. He was like looking off to the side. He's probably using his super hearing and ████ >> He's probably trying to hear >> He could hear a heartbeat really high. >> Sonar. >> Yeah, sonar. >> That's how he was echolocating you. You were already like, "I got >> ████ dude. >> Damn, dude. Yeah, see >> Did you guys all went to the Special Olympics or something? You didn't know? >> No, we just had a special guy. >> Not a lot of kids wrestled, so you got to wrestle >> But even the ref was deaf? >> The ref was deaf. >> You didn't even hear him go, "Huh?" How you going to know? >> Yeah, wrestling's a small sport, so you have random weird ones. Like we had guys on our team that had to wrestle a girl cuz they don't have a girls >> wrestling team. So they'll have a random girl on the team.

53 >> So it's like you have you get a lot of random things. >> you lose to the girl, that's you know. >> That sucks, too. That ████ sucks, too. >> Then you have to shower her after. >> So do you think it actually is what you're watching Taika do is cooler than what your dad could have seen you do? >> Way cooler. >> Well, my dad's also trying to like >> I think I think he's proud of Taika. >> Yeah. No, cuz my dad's also trying to navigate the world, right? So for him he's like, "Dude, you got to work and then go to the mortgage, and okay, you know, he's just like, "Well, well, when I eat dim sum next?" Like, he's trying to navigate the world. Like, "Can I eat dim sum now?" >> Like, he doesn't know If I wanted to like If I go, "Dad, I want to buy like the sickest wrestling shoes." Uh big five down the street. You go there. You know, like it's like very basic. >> Right. >> For Tyga, when when he was playing uh recreational soccer, I can tell he's really into it, but the place just sucks. So, I can do my research and like

44 Google ask ChatGPT cloud, "What is the best programs?" And >> So, you're workshopping with him. >> in Vegas. Like, who has the best record? Who has the best chance of going to whatever? What are the different leagues? So, I do full-on research so that I can already put him in the best position. >> Maximize his experience with everything, yeah. >> Yeah. >> Yeah, that's doing a lot more than just big five. >> And then so even for him, I found the top three uh programs that I thought were in Vegas that were good, and he went and tried out at all three. >> Mhm. Damn. >> So, he but then he ended up choosing this one cuz he just liked the vibes better. >> I see. >> So, like that is already leaps and bounds ahead of like you wanting to do like karate or something, and then your dad just go, "Uh kung fu down the street. You go do You know what I mean?" >> This is the only one we're going >> Yeah, I wanted to do the kung fu down the street. My dad said go to taekwondo. >> Yeah, it's like very He's very like basic, and then I'm able to like take it

36 way further and like >> very advanced. >> Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. >> Except for when he lost to the blind guy. You're like a You're like Tyga's sports agent. >> Yeah, yeah. >> No, seriously. And if there's anyone who's going to know it, it's this guy. >> Well, congrats to you, Tyga, for winning that soccer tournament. >> On to many more. >> If you guys want to see the video of it, it's on Bart's Instagram. I know you did like a super cut of like some of his stuff. >> highlight. >> Yeah, and there's lots of footage of him with his trophy and his little medal and everything. Hope he wins lots more tournaments. Good job, Tyga. >> Thank you. >> Future goalie star. >> Thank you, uncles.
