Like the reason why I wear so much Indiana stuff is because Indiana is the only place that I feel like I had control over where I was. I went to Virginia. I went to San Diego. Both times not of my own free will. I

And then my mom at the time was like very scared about financial stuff and she was like Steven, I don't know what we're going to do cuz your old man didn't set up anything. Like what are we going to do? And I was like well ████ I bought this thing called Bitcoin like 2013 that's kind of okay. How'd you even know about Bitcoin? My buddy my buddy Peter Gilroy and me used to be at Maker Studios together and he like got in the Bitcoin fad at the time like during the peak of it like when it was like a a thousand bucks each. He's like

And how did you have to how did you buy it? I bought it on Coinbase. On Coinbase? Yeah. And it was sus-ish, but I knew enough cuz my old man's a computer guy. So I knew enough about how that ████ works like to not fall for some stupid website. Like and this is normie ████ obviously. I'm not like getting blown myself here, but like I knew that they were like a bigger company because of who they were aligned with. So, I was like, "Okay, I can actually put my credentials in here and like sign up an account." So, I did that. I bought my first Bitcoin when it
6:00 was a thousand bucks. And then I bought again when it was buck 125. So, it fell all the way from there like within a week and a half or something. It fell to 125. Yeah, and I bought more cuz I was like, "I want even more Bitcoin. I liked it last week. Why don't I like it this week?" Oh, cuz the price fell. Like I actually still like it. And that dude, that is like I'm so glad that I see the world that way because that has been a blessing in my life. Like where like you you can see the value in something when everybody else goes, "No, it's over. What are you talking about?" That's that's a bubble that popped. What made you see the value of Bitcoin or crypto in general? I I didn't ever I was always very wary of the dollar. >> super skeptical. My grandfather was a big Bitcoin guy. Right. You mean like gold? Gold, silver, copper, ████ all the coins. So, my

We had a neighbor, this is the family legend, is that a neighbor who knew about my grandfather's coin collection came over and ripped off my grandfather and like my grandma says she could hear like she came home and she saw, "Oh ████ we got we're getting robbed." And she heard the thump of the coins being thrown over the fence. Because it was a big ████ coin case that he had. And and I so I was always wary of the dollar because my grandfather was wary of it and he always wanted metals, precious metals to back, you know, cuz he went through the Great Depression. Like my my grandparents went through the Great Depression. So, they always learned like your money could get ████ tomorrow and you could go to the bank and they're like, "Sorry, we can't give you anything." So, that you need to have something to back it up. And so, that's what got me into Bitcoin early early was once I found out what

Just because everyone writ large is like, "This is stupid." I don't agree with you cuz I know why I bought it last week. I know why this is actually uh an answer to inflation, for example. And then I bought it I bought Ethereum. I was like I was researching uh crypto because my mom scared me enough where she's like, "Dad doesn't have any plans for f███." And I was like, "Okay, let me look look into this Bitcoin thing again." And I was looking into Ethereum and I was like, "S███, man." I was like, "Smart contracts make so much sense for the world for like what's being built for the world." And I think that that will be an integral part of like our society in the future. And I

We're talking about like this Treasury Secretary is now talking about putting crypto on putting the the the state balance sheet for the entire government on the blockchain. How would they do that? How much uh time a day do you would you say you dedicate to crypto, either from studying, researching, or It's just a It's To me, it's all connected cuz I, you know, I have crypto corner, right? And so, that's my community of people and then there's people in my DMs who are just trying to get like simple things set up that I always help them with. So, I feel like I do tech support a a but I but I do a I do at least 5 hours a day of just looking through all the stuff that I already like or [snorts] of or like bridging those
