00 Yo, when was the last fight you guys were in? >> Oh, come on, Anthony. We're like 40. It was It was a year ago. It was a year ago. >> Was it a year ago? >> No, no, no, no, no. Just kidding. Just Just kidding. >> That would have been so crazy if it was. They still fight. >> The last fight we got into, I think we were early 20s. Have we started JK yet or No, >> probably not. >> No, we were just friends, but we also went to the same um MMA school together. >> Yeah. So, same MMA school, same college, same high school, but didn't know each other. And uh you know when you're like in your early 20s when you become really close with someone you start making these packs brother's handshake warrior handshake. And I remember me and >> Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. We all make warrior handshakes. >> So me and Joe became friends. And then uh we're just telling each other stories or whatever. And then he told us he told me about a story about one time he got ambushed by like a bunch of dudes like

52 five dudes or something. They bashed his mom's car, pepper sprayed him, all that ████ And then he was referencing some of the dudes names because, you know, we all went to the same high school, same area. And I was like, "What the ████ That's ████ up, bro." And I was like, "If I ever catch this guy, we're going to take care of him together." And he's like, "All right." You know, and then that was just that was it. >> And a real brotherhood. >> Yeah. Just Brotherhood pack type ████ right? >> Cool. >> And then randomly, we were at this like bar called Oiwakis in Little Tokyo, LA. We go there to hang out cuz uh one of our friends worked at the Japan American Theater. So, he's there all the time. We're grabbing food, drinks, and then I went to go take a piss in the bathroom and then I saw the guy X there and I was like, "Oh ████ that's him." [laughter]

44 So, I come outside, >> he shook his hand. >> I know you, brother. And then Joe Joe uh was just hanging out and I was like, "Hey, Joe." I was like, that guy's here. What do you want to do? And I remember I think Joel was like, "Let's go ████ him up." [laughter] So, I spring into action cuz I've been waiting for this moment. Um, and this is the f this is the first time I beat his ass, too. This is like the No. Yeah. Wait, this might be the first time. >> Oh, cuz I was like, "Wait, you already avenged it?" I was like, "What the hell?" >> No, no, no, no. Cuz there was a second time I ran into him. I've been tricked. There was a second time I got it mixed up. does that with multiple friends just to see who's down. >> But I did have a lot of insane friends. But anyways, [snorts] so I spring into action. There was another buddy with us that >> the other buddy is this buddy. [laughter] >> So me, Joe, and this buddy.

35 >> So Bart and then this other buddy. There was actually four cuz it was a Kevin. And I think you guys st stood by the door cuz you're going to close the door and let me handle my ████ >> So it's going to be one-on-one. Keep it fair. >> Wow. Honorable, man. >> Honorable, dude. Honorable. I go in and he's in the urinal and I was like, I ain't going to ambush his ass while he's peeing. So, I went into the stall and I waited. >> But shout outs to him. He's been peeing for a long time because I was there. He was peeing. I left. Told Joe he came back. So, he probably has a big dick or >> No, I think you saw I think you saw him walking in >> because it was you and you and Mike. You saw him walking in. He's and then you said he's going in there now. So, I ████ ran in and then I mean this place is small so like running in is three steps, right? I go in, I see him, I go into the stall, I wait, and then he comes out and then um my other buddy and

26 Bart is waiting outside holding the door. So I uh I confront him at the sink. What did you say? I'll be like, "Surprise." I don't know. Surprise, ████ [laughter] >> It was bonsai for all I remember. And then he yells back and we just start like brawling, right? like ████ exchanging p I got an upper hand, you know, like I'm overwhelming them. It's going good and I feel a boom like in the back of my head and then from the back of my head, he had a buddy in there >> that I didn't recognize. >> There's another guy peeing in there. >> There's another guy there that were was with him. So when he saw that we were brawling, he punched me in the back of the head. So then now I'm somehow turned around. I'm my I'm up against the wall

18 just trying to take cover. Now there's two guys overwhelming me. And then uh the other buddy finally comes in and starts getting the other guy from the back >> cuz I think we hear the the commotion. We're like, "Oh ████ that sounds crazy. Doesn't sound like one-on-one." And this way we bust in. >> So another guy comes in. He's overwhelmed. Bart comes in. Wait, were you out in the hallway? No, I think you were in the hallway picking some ass, right? You picked some guy up. I think I think I think I think uh this guy goes in. I think he kicks him and they start fighting and then I think they realize they were losing so they start coming down the hallway. They started screaming help. That's what happened. And then I was in the hallway. So he was like he was like help. And I was like shut the ████ up. So [laughter] I grabbed him by the collar cuz he's wear a dress shirt. I just started meeting the ████ out of him. >> And then I trying to get him to shut up.

09 Shut up. Shut up. >> The cool part is this is also the time where we all training MMA. So we were pretty sharp. We're like we're like boom boom come on pow pow pow. Yeah. This is dream ████ scenario. And we did MMA in a ghee. So the callers were to a ghee ████ guy. So yeah. So we're beating his ass and they start crawling out. Then this place have the biggest Samoan bouncers you ever seen >> and they're all females. >> They start coming in. We're like, "Oh s███." So kind of like a Chinese triad movie. We run through the kitchen. >> Oh, but before that, let me tell you how they got away because it's so ████ hilarious. It's like bar was in the hallway, right? So, we're we're getting down. We're ████ these guys up, right? One guy kind of tries to sneak away and then he's all screaming, "Help! Help!" They're screaming, "Help!" and then the buddy friendly fires just ████ launches a kick and kicks me in the face. This guy. >> Yeah. [laughter]

59 >> So, he kicks me in the ████ face, right? I go down and that gives them time to get away. So, my own buddy kicks me and gives them a chance to get the ████ away. And when they get away, Bart grabs one of them and I I got you. And then him and the other guy, Kevin, just start whailing on them, right? And then and then they leave. And then that's when we're like, "Oh ████ we got to go." And then we just start booking it >> through a Chinese restaurant >> through a Chinese. It was like we went through the >> running away from Sam Samoan chick bouncers. >> These chicks look like they're like 280 or something. >> Yeah, they're about to get your ass. >> They're like 6 feet. >> That's crazy. picking up freaking 120 Asian guys, you know. >> Yeah. They were going to beat our ass. And then we went out and we all reet up in the parking lot, right? And then you guys kind of had a standoff again, but

50 then nothing happened from >> Well, I dislocated my my my finger. Well, I was running through the kitchen. I had to pop it back in cuz I I popped him in the face so hard that it dislocated right here. And then so I was like, "Ah, ████ All right. Well, I guess I'll I'll fight with a handicap." And then I I try to call them out like we had a like a it looked like a standoff. These guys are notorious for bashing cars cuz they can't fight. That's what they love to do. They'll like get weapons. They won't destroy you with the weapon cuz they're afraid to actually hurt you and go to jail. So what they'll So what I was afraid of is like we go out there, >> they pass your car or whatever. >> We thought he was they were going to hit one of our cars. They know they knew what our cars looked like. So it could have been Bart's car, mine, whatever. So that's when I was like, "We should all go out. We should all go out." So when we went out there, um, remember like, so

43 I went I walked up to him and I said, "Let's just do this oneonone so we don't get our friends involved and you guys got ████ weapons, whatever. ████ that. Like just just do me and you one-on-one." And I kept trying to tell him and he goes, "No, no, no. I wasn't even there." He goes, "I don't I was like, I don't give a ████ if you were there. You're his you're you're their best friend, so you have to be punished for it." And then he goes like, "No, no, no. It's cool, man. I'm It's cool. Like, I'm cool. Look at me. I'm bleeding already. We already done." So, he had like blood coming out of his mouth and ████ And he was like, "I'm done with this. Like, I don't want I don't want it." And I was like, "Yeah, but like if you didn't want it, why are your friends like holding like weapons and ████ Like, they were going to probably do something." And I'm like, "That's not cool." So, anyways, uh the whole time I think why we hesitated though, there were these the Simone security guards were like, "Cops were already on their way." So that's when I was like, we either got to go or just like fight and

33 like go. But then that's when we were like, let's go. So, uh, we ended, they didn't want the smoke. We were done. And that was the last kind of thing. And then looking back, I was like, man, if me and Bar were actually in the gang together, that would have been so fun cuz there would have been so many moments like this. And this should be like, guys, don't fight, man. ████ [laughter] don't go in school. Yeah, it should be. But what we were like 19 >> or 19 probably >> 19 like getting into stupid ████ and then like and then I don't know like I just think that's a natural thing you do when you're a boy growing up. >> You know what's crazy? I saw him the next day. [laughter] >> Shut the ████ up. >> At Bies that everyone goes to. Everyone goes there, right? I saw him the next day. I was working out with this guy's little brother. So we walk

24 >> I love that this guy's always just this guy. And so I walk I walk we walk I see him come in and I'm like oh ████ it's that ████ And then so I'm like a jokester. So I open the door for I'm like after you. [laughter] He goes inside, right? He goes inside. Me and this guy's little brother. We go upstairs cuz that's where the weight room is at. And then I see him pull out his phone. And then so me and the little brother I was like, "Oh f███." And this this guy's little brother's down too. I was like, "I don't know what's about to happen. He's on his phone. Might be calling all his homies." I was like, "Just know if you start seeing me chuck 45s down the stairs, we're going to be aiming for people." And he's like, "Okay, I'm down." And but he ended up just leaving. But I was like, "Oh ████ it's about to get crazy." I was like, "I never thrown 45 plates down the stairs, but if it's going to happen, it's going to happen." >> Start with a 25, dude. >> Like, yeah, start with something you got more aim. >> No, it's got to be like Home Alone, brother. [laughter]

14 >> Yeah, but I didn't. But then he just left. He ended up leaving. And the thing is back then you were just guilty by association cuz the thing is all these guys had masks on when they attacked me. So I'm only going based on what I who I think it is. >> You couldn't smell if it was like polo sport or David or like colog. >> But to me that's how we operated though. Back then it's like those are your friends. You're guilty. I don't give a ████ That's all your friends. >> He probably was there. [laughter] >> He probably was. He's probably lying. >> I was a there. He was probably there, dude. >> I recognize that fade from anywhere. [laughter] >> Yeah. Yeah. Like like I believe you. >> He was He probably pepper- sprrayed me. >> Yeah. Yeah. >> Or one of those guys that we got that were his friends in the bathroom. Like that. That could have been one of them. >> It's probably a small crew. Yeah. >> Wait, did you beat him up again another time? >> Yeah, a different time. So, we were at a

05 stoplight and then um this is why I think I got him before because the thing is he was so bold before like we were at a stoplight and then um he looked at me and my buddy and my buddy's a nutcase like he wants every reason in the world to fight. He's the kind of guy that like makes up a story that you offended him so he could just fight you >> like a vitam those are the scariest guys ever. >> Yeah. >> So he knows of this and and then so he he's one of those guys that I just cannot wait to fight. So we're at a stoplight and then um you know the stars aligned and and and he's right next to me. >> God wanted he pulled up. >> SGV is a small place. >> Look over and I was like oh that's the guy. And he goes, "What guy?" And he

56 goes, "Dude, that's the guy that bashed my car." So you cheated on me with a warrior's handshake with the other guy. Well, [laughter] >> the thing is, >> how could you, bro? >> I wouldn't. So what happens next? Like I couldn't expect, right? We're at a stoplight. I'm just waiting. And then that guy is pulling up. He's looking at me, smiling, you know? He's laughing at me, pointing at me. And then my friend just opens the door, his windows down, and then he just kicks him in the face. He grabs him by the shirt, unlocks the door, opens the door, and starts wailing on him. >> That's Jason Bard. >> And then I I put my car like on, you know, on ████ E bra. I turn around, I get my ████ licks in. Boom, boom, boom. And then everyone's honk honk [screaming] honk. Hey, you know, stop stop. Yeah. And we're just there ████

46 his ass up. And then like, you know, like guys behind us are getting out of their cars and being like, "Guys, stop. Stop." like, "Please stop. We, you know, the the the light the lights green. We need to go whatever." And I think like people were like, "Oh, obviously stupid teenagers." So, um, we drag him out, get him in the street. He's like all like, "F██████ whatever." And then he gets he gets back in his car, we just jump right back in and just drive off. And then I was like, "Damn, bro. You got to tell me when you do ████ like that." But thank you, though, you know? That's called a uh act of service. >> I love I love that moment of adrenaline where it's just like there's that code where it's like that it starts happening and you got enough time to be like full on e break open the door walk out on the

36 other side. Make sure with all the touch you got your licks in and stuff. People are yelling at you and hawking pulling them out and then you're like you got to tell me before we do that next time. Can I ask you a question? But >> when people are yelling stop, stop, stop. Does that make you kind like psychologically in that moment? This is what I imagine. >> Does that kind of make you want to do it a little bit more and harder? [laughter] >> Yeah. At least for me, I was just like, "Oh s███." Like, "I better hurry up." >> Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. But that ends up looking like you're doing it harder and faster, you know? >> Three more times. You know, it's like Yeah, bro. Dragging a guy out of his car to the street is ████ hilarious. You >> deserved it though. >> Yeah. I know. It's hilarious. >> It's hilarious. >> How is he laughing at you guys? >> That's That's what hurt my feelings. [laughter]
