00 [Music] Welcome back to another episode of Careful Boys. Today we're going to ask each of these gentlemen right here, what is the angriest you've ever been at a restaurant? At a restaurant. The angriest. Nick's like, "Which time?" Yeah. No, I'm I honestly because I I've worked ser because I've worked service industry. It's it's makes me very like I'm very gracious when I go to like But then are you also angry when people aren't doing basic things that are you know what I mean? Cuz you know how easy some nuz at the end of the day it's like I think nowadays you just accept that service everywhere at least in LA, California is just like it's just kind of whack. So anytime you get really good service you're like wow that's cool. But most I kind of expect service wherever I go nowadays. I do too. Like I just expect
50 that like they're underst staffed. Like certain restaurants like a Chinese restaurant. Yeah, that's where we usually eat. But like I just expect that there's going to be, you know, like hiccups with how people are when they when when they serve you or But it's nothing that bad. Like I there's only I can think of right now where Do you ever get things remade? You ever go like can you can you remake this? This is unacceptable. You know, not even drinks. I don't I'm I'm a more of a Coke guy and just a water. It's hard for them remade. Can I get all these sodas in one can, please? The the other uh the other day when we were at Me and Smacker in Vegas, we went to Baby Stacks and then the and then the uh the hostess was like, "Sit anywhere you want." Okay, cool. Smack sits down in the first like booth. It's soaking wet and her whole ass and like
40 legs are just like wet. So, she's like, "Okay, anywhere I want." And she the and then the girl's like, "Oh, no, not there. We're still cleaning that." And then so Smack gets up and she's she had like like wet marks like overalls and it was just like super drenched. And then so I was like we went to a different table. Smack doesn't care. She laughs at the stuff. And then uh I went up to that hostess. I'm like, "Do you have like a rag or something that we can like she can sit on so that it dries it?" And the hostess goes, "Oh yeah." And just gives us the napkins that are already on the table. And goes like this. And I was just like, here you go. That's the What were you going to wipe the water with? That's the thing I watched. Was she Was she or he or she in high school or something? Probably. Yeah. Probably just like a just didn't know what to do. But I was just like the That was funny. That's a host move. That's crazy. She's not. When I realized Interesting kind of
31 like low IQ. Yeah. To me, I I all of my frustration just goes away. Like it's almost like, oh, I'm dealing with a pigeon cuz it's like an earnest mistake. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. It's like they're not capable of even thinking of a solution. So like I'm like, "Oh, I got a down syndrome greeter right now." So it's like completely different. Down syndrome greeter. Yeah. But it's hard for me to get mad at staff um a lot of the times because I just I've been working in restaurant. just but um it's when they're when it's intentional like you know that they're ████ around and they're just h like talking and like they're not hustling and other people are and you're just watching them and they're like ████ this guy. Mhm. That's when I get mad and then like what happened in this situation? Um, I
21 usually just talk to them, but like what was the situation? What happened? No, no, no. Um, I'm just imagining I'm just imagining things that didn't happen that makes me angry. Yeah. Oh, yeah. I was in um I was in China one time and I took my uh my parents on like the tour with me cuz uh I just wanted to travel with them and I was like I know my parents had never been to China. Is there service like here like the like the Chinese restaurant? So, this isn't a service situation. This is a very very random one, but it just happened to be in a restaurant. This is really unique uh for it's a Chinese culture thing, right? Where I got to pick this up. Sorry. Har, why you got to disappear, dude? Just come talk. Put on speaker phone. Should I lock the door, dude? Just put on
12 speaker phone, dude. He just straight disappeared. That's hella funny. Okay. Hope it's actually business. It's not ████ having some ████ I don't think it's I don't think it's a donut attack. No ████ clown coming in here, is there? Yeah, you never know what ████ rain. My ████ clenches around. Why are you moving so fast, right? You never move that. I like locking the door though. Yeah, someone's going to ████ unleash some snakes in here or something. I feel like he gives you like five good things like donuts and then you feel relaxed and like oo is another donut attack and then boom, a snake is up your ass or something. Or is he just fully He's like making a crazy sale right now that like just has to go down. Yeah. Offer up or some ████ Yeah. Yeah. He's He's buying. Yo. Yeah. He's buying He bid on a car right now. That makes a lot of sense. I can see this fool can start a whole ████ used car lot. Sorry. You better ████ tell us.
02 Did you just buy a car or what? No double offer uping. No, it's it's a delivery, dude. He just keeps like I keep saying text me, but he doesn't text. Oh, he delivers donuts, dude. What the ████ Delivery. Not that delivery. Hey, pizza. Pizza guy. Sorry. You're saying China mom China number one. Okay. Yeah. So, um I happen to have like this one assistant for this certain type of situation in China, right? And when the assistant in China like has to be a certain type of uh hostess kind of thing, they have to do like all of the like ████ If you want a ████ coffee, they get it for if you like buy stuff like from a shopping store and you're walking around, they're like holding it for you. If they if they're like if you're like kind of like wearing a back they're putting on 16 backpacks and sweating through it and like climbing up the Great Wall of China, they won't let you like be uncomfortable
52 to the So it's like like celebrity service almost. Yeah. So like we I just had that type of assistant. At one time I had to learn this the hard way too when I was there and this is just a consistent assistant of mine. Um when when I would like fight back and be like no like don't do this or like let me pay for the tab or like you just normal things that we would do. Yeah. and just argue. You know how like Asian people will argue over the tab like arguing in every facet of something that I would be like no I'm not going to like let another human being do this for me right and I would like win and they would be like really confused and then she would get reamemed out by her boss later and so the next day she's like in a worse situation she has to do this right so I learned to just be like that literally everyone wins if I just let her do her job and then it looks like she did a great job let her score her points he's like I had to let her suck my dick. Like
42 what was I going to do? She was going to get yelled at by her boss. What do you expect? It was the best. It was the best. Absolutely. Yeah. Sweating in those sweaters. So then this same assistant is taking care of me when I'm now hosting my parents, right? So then same thing we like do just like Little China tours. We went to Forbidden Temple like Great Wall of China and she's like starting to do these things but my mom's going through that, right? And then I'm I'm trying to explain to my mom. I'm like, you know what? like, "Mom, just like let her. It's her job. Like, she has to do this, so like don't worry." But then she's like, "No, no, she we start arguing, but I'm like again, I'm letting my I'm just like kind of trying to let her figure it out." And then it gets really, really extreme at one point, right? Where she's like again grabbing like all the family stuff, sitting in the front seat uncomfortably. My mom's like, "No, no, no. Sit in the back." She's thinking like she's thinking like, "Oh my god, she's taking such a good care of us." Like she she's like a family member now, right? And I'm
34 like, "Please just let her do her job." Asian moms, man. So, we get into we it finally breaks down where my mom gets pissed at me and yells at me in front of like Nina, my parents, and and the assistant. And she's like and she's yelling at me and she's like, "What's wrong with you?" Right. And so I'm like, "Family trips. This is exactly how I expected something. Take you anywhere, b████." Your mom, I raised you better. Exactly. But I get it. But I didn't teach you to own slaves. Anony's spitting on this poor woman. It's so difficult, right? Give me my ████ coffee. Let her give me the ████ in the back of the van. Jesus. Um, and so, so then we end up How can you let her suck you off while Nina's here? Next thing on it right after like my mom like chewing me out, right? Is it's dinner. So, we go to a restaurant and now my
24 mom's like, "I'm not hungry. I'm not eating with you guys." She's so mad. Classic mom move. I'm not eating. I don't want to talk. I'm not hungry anymore. Good. You need to lose weight, too. You say that. But I'm going to sit here. No. No. So the funnier thing was the funnier thing was she's like I'm going to go walk around and my dad's just like he's looking at me. He's like, "Let her go. Just let her go. It's okay." So we're all sitting there trying you're trying to break the awkwardness. It's just me, my dad, Nina, and then my assistant. We sit there like, "All right, let's just eat." My assistant's feeling terrible now. Extra terrible, right? And it's okay. Let's just eat. My mom needs to go around. So the anger is like finally starting to subside and this is where the humor comes back in 20 plus minutes later she comes back right and then she she bought this like bag for like 150 bucks or some stupid ████
14 She retail therapy herself. She's like I deserve this like whatever. And I'm cracking up cuz I'm in my mind I'm like I know you didn't have cash. And then I'm like dad where did she get the cash? He's like gave it to her. And he knows he starts laughing cuz I gave him the cash. Oh, that he gave to her. So, she's sitting there all smug like I bought this bag cuz like you're such a bad son and I I was mad at you so I just bought this and I deserved it. And in my mind, I'm like, "Motherfucker, I bought you that bag for being mad at me right now." Yep. And suddenly everybody at the table's like laughing, having a good time. So, you're like funding her comeback on you. Yeah. I'm like, "Let her win in every way." I'm I'm just going to enjoy this. You got the internal dub. Yeah. And that's my mom. Love it. She sounds like a dream.

See you guys there. Say hi to me. Dude, my mom is honestly so sick in small doses. But then when you have to like stay with somebody like every day, you know, traveling too, you're like every day. My favorite is how I made that Christmas ornament with you on both sides and I gave it to him. He gave it to his mom and she goes, "Why did you put Nina on the other side? So selfish of you, dude."
56 He's like, "Oh, wow." Even though it's burning twin towers, like, "Oh, wow. How come you're on both sides?" Yeah, she wore it like a medallion. She wore it. Wow. Like a necklace, dude. Yeah, she wore like a necklace. I did not see that coming at all. That picture is hella cute, though, cuz she's like she's like, she thought it was a necklace. Yeah, my mom is an overh helper. So, like we were just traveling to San Fran for my brother's wedding. We pick up my mom at the airport and then we're trying to find where the Uber is and my mom spends the whole time pointing out every number and we don't need to hear all the numbers. Like, you know how they they pull up to different lots and like we're waiting for him to go to a certain spot, but the Uber driver guy was like this like total Chinese guy who had no idea what English was. And so, we're trying to tell him where we are, but he doesn't
47 know that we're we're not where he where his dot is. we're we're somewhere else, right? So, we're trying to tell him like, "Hey, we're Nikki's just handling it." She's like, "I'm handling it." And then my mom's just like keeps talking about maybe things that she could be telling him to do. And then my mom's like, "Oh, I can get um I can translate Chinese on my phone." And it's just like we're It's being handled, dude. It's like being handled. Just Just lay off. Just chill. In the meantime, she's like, "No, this isn't it either." Nope. Nope. That's exactly it. And and Nikki's like already has like, you know, like like that diet autism brain where she's like got to have things in order in her brain. And my mom's constantly getting in that way. And so I could just see Nikki just her eyes is slowly going on fire, you know, and and it's and my mom's being helpful. So there's it's really hard to just like lash out like good intentions. Exactly. But it just
37 doesn't help. It just was spitting my wife up, dude. Yeah. Nothing I could do. I was just like, uh, I ended up giving my mom the the daggers look of like, you know what I mean? And that was enough. Well, I was I was I'm on camera right now, but it was a little more me. It was a little more mean. And my mom got it. It was I was like I was like, you're not helping, you know, and that was enough thankfully for about 20 minutes and then she's back. If if that reminds you of like when I sometimes I'll be like editing uh music and then someone else might be in the room. It's not it's never smack. It's usually like a friend and you know like when you when you just playing something to see if it matches real quick to like move the thing. Very simple stuff. You don't need someone to tell you no it's off still. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Like it's in your internal dialogue that it's off. You
27 know that. But then someone's over there just going nope. And it's like it's that it's that thing of like it's being handled. We don't need like a [Music] like there doesn't need to be an external commentary about like this isn't the place yet and it's like yeah that's really maddening. Two frames maybe to the right. It's like out of pocket a little bit. Just barely. Can you hear that? That that's probably from high anxiousness, huh? I'm sure cuz they can't they just want to help as much as they can but it's like can't sit still. She has to help at all times. Yeah, that's kind of like chicks when you're driving too. You know those memes that they're like, "Oh, how did I ever drive without you? I I would have crashed into everything cuz the chicks are always like, "Oh, watch that car." And what does that do that makes you more anxious as a driver% Tiff loves to
18 tell me when there's a red light. She goes, "Watch out, red light." And I go, "No way." Nikki's Nikki Nikki's like, "You're going 115 mph." I'm like, "I know." She's like, "That's we're going to get that's very dangerous." Lucky me, Hannah doesn't know how to drive, so she's just talking. Oh, yeah. Like that time you almost crashed. We almost ████ died in a car accident cuz some drunk girls almost rammed into us and she was talking about whales or something deep into thought. My nephew's in the back seats look like they just saw a ████ ghost and we're just like ████ ████ and then she's just going on like nothing happened. My my like ultimate comeback for Nina is because she always complains about her mom is so dramatic, right? It's like every the littlest thing can happen. It's like a tsunami wave, right? And then anytime Nah's like in a car or something like that and then same ████ right? It's
09 like somebody might be walking from like ████ a mile away. Watch out. And it just freaks you out, right? Cuz you're on alert. You're like, "Oh, I'm seeing something that I missed." So you freak out. Yeah. And then the second I look at her, I'm like, "You are your mother's daughter." Yeah, she always just like Yeah, it's like the end. You guys, speaking of which, I think this is a good time to recommend a nice Instagram page I found. It's called Learning to Drive Safe, and it's this guy that just purposely overreacts at everything on the road. Like, not even close. Doesn't matter. [Music] Hey, [Laughter] stupid. Can you forget you have a
59 ████ turn signal? That's me, actually. Not joking. It's nothing but things that are like so far away. Like a guy will turn, he's like, "Whoa, buddy." That's That's how ████ Gio reacts to ████ This is a good page to show your girls if they ever get like that. But why are you stopping so close? That's Nikki think. Why you stopping so close? Uh why aren't you using the fast lane? And I'm like cuz it wasn't the fast lane like 3 minutes ago, dude. I'm always trying to find the fast lane. We're in it right now. Right. You need like a car from Death Proof that has like glass right here so they can't talk to you. But then when Nikki's driving, it's taking weeks off my life, dude. The whole time. It's just taking weeks. Like, oh my god. The whole time. The whole time. Yo, recently more than ever, I've been feeling so much anxiety when I drive in uh in lift cars. Like if I'm
51 the passenger, I'm like I'm like this ████ not even looking at some people really can't drive for real. Like one time we're on the way to to They still survive, bro. We were on a family trip. This mother he's a South African dude. This dude's like trying to make all these jokes and he's literally looking behind as he's driving. Oh my god, dude. And he's a cocky guy, right? He thinks like he knows how to ████ drive. And it's all the women in my family were all about to go to the airport and this ████ makes a U-turn, hits the curb. Two of the ladies in the back smack their head against the ████ window. And it's like boom. And it's like hard as ████ And they're like, "Oh s███." Like everyone's like cursing. And he's like, "Oh, whoops. Oh, oops. I didn't even see that there." And he's like trying to make jokes and we're like, "Yo, dude, what are you doing?" And then he hits our curb again. Oh god. Dude's like, "Oh my god, bro. Please." And he's like trying to make jokes the whole time. Like it's all good. It does a little dingga or whatever the ████ you said. I wish they had a test. Dingga.
44 Four months ago. Four months ago, I was trying to get the JK in in an Uber and this guy's telling me a story and every single time he keeps talking, he keeps missing exit. I've had one of those. They miss like oops. I'm like, can you I'm like the next I'm like, oh no, that was the exit. Yeah. He's like, oh shoot. I'm like, oh great. Yeah, another 8 minutes. That's no big deal. You're like, yeah, man. People are waiting on me. Yeah, right. I'm going to be late. Sorry, dude. Oh, little dinger. A little dinger.
